If you had of asked me a month or two ago, I would have told you I am going to create the most intense hate thread ever and go out with a bang.
But now, despite my getting hyped for this next dlc (choo-choo!), I am also prepared for the worst, and if that happens. I will simply explain to BioWare that I'm disappointed in them, I don't like the direction they've taken this franchise, and I've felt betrayed by the emotional investment I put into this series and these characters.
And then, I will leave. For good. And I will never buy DA3 nor any other BioWare product. Because even though DA3 might be the best game ever... Sometimes you have to take a stand. It could be seen as cutting off my nose to spite my face. But as long as I see BioWare's logo on any product, I wont feel comfortable letting myself be immersed in their games.
So yes, this is basically what I would say if this next dlc is a let down.

You finally realize that the endings are what they are, and you move on from it.
That, or you continue to wallow in your self-pity with other posters that feel the same way you do.
I expect the latter.

well from the reports that I have read. They are bringing in 8 writers to do this last DLC. This has to do something with the ending. I mean maybe an eplilogue? I can only hope that they do something to rectify the ending. I can't even get myself to start playing it again. I mean I am playing DAO. I hope Bioware doesn't screw DA3 over by ending the game with ABC logic and three different color skies!
If they don't address the ending, I will leave Mass Effect in my storage unit!

We enjoy the reactions, the final death of the IT movement, and then wait for the cycle to repeat itself in DA:I somehow.

I'll be sure play other games as im still debating whether to get farcry 3 as skyrim has taken alot of my gaming time so not ready to jump into another open world type game as of yet, I'll miss hating upon ME3 though and it's lacklustre dlc.......i doubt i'll jump over too the DA forum tho as i wasnt as invested in that series as i was ME.

If the rage continues after the DLC, it honestly wouldn't surprise to see this forum shut down by the end of the year.\\
It's not as ragey as it was a few months ago, but if the next DLC fails to appeal to the ragers, then they will continue to rage. And then I see BioWare closing this forum.

well once the last DLC comes out people will get mad because its not what they wanted to see that will go on for a few weeks. Once the crying stops from those people then it will start slowing down till more info starts droping about ME4

I'll probably leave. I'm not interested in any EAWare products.
I've had enough of their garbage writing.
Maybe i'll watch DA3 failure, but i won't participate in that. I'll better let EAWare to headcanon my money.

so if this last dlc turns out to be just another random "shoot everything to get pointless war assets" mission, than i think ill leave mass effect and bioware alone from then...
i think i bought almost everything they developed since baldurs gate 1, but if this is the direction they want to go with their games (shorter and shorter development times, and lazy deepressing conclusions to their storys and stuff) then its not something i want to support anymore...
id be here from time to time i think, to see if the war between pro ending and contra ending people is still ongoing, but other than that...

Shave my head, become a monk at a Buddhist temple and pray for a end to Bioware's suffering. Never pick up a Bioware product again without spoiling the story for my self and making sure the game have ample amount of content.

Assuming it is a post ending or ending revamp or something that sends the series off with a bang I will buy every bioware product that I have missed out on,
However, in the more likely scenario, if we get a few hours of meaningless pew pew and some war assets I will just sign out of my BSN account, Put my ME trilogy on the shelf forever, curl into a ball and watch this for a few hours
www.youtube.com/watch
Bioware can then headcanon my money - forever.

i came to ME2 in 2011 and not that many people were posting in the strategy forum but there was a hardcore group that kept it alive and i'm thankful because i learned a lot from them.
so, same thing here possibly.

I'll do what I've been doing for a couple of weeks: lurk in the shadows and wait. I've always said that BioWare will end up in the same ditch that holds the remains of Bullfrog, Westwood and many others, and I want to be there when it happens.

What do we do?
We remember.
We remember how we weren't listened to the enxt time they start to market a game.
When Dragon Age 3 comes out, we rmember the promises of Mass Effect 3, and how that worked out.
Whenthe next Mass Effect game comes out, we remember what happened to our choices and our Shepards.
When the next IP comes out, we remember how Mass Effect started, and how it ended.
I intend to bookmark some ME3 reviews on youtube, and when the next Bioware game comes around, ask "Why should I trust you again"
