In Mass Effect 2 there were ONLY two types of biotic power combinations:
* Warp Detonation: using Warp on a target being lifted by Singularity, Pull, or Slam. The Warp power would inflict double damage upon the lifted target(s) and inflict its normal damage to any other enemy within the blast radius.
* Force effects on lifted targets. Enemies lifted by powers like Singularity and Pull will take double damage/force from powers like Throw and Shockwave. Note that this does not result in an explosion such as in Mass Effect 3, it simply makes those powers far more effective in terms of environment kills (knocking them off the map) or physics damage from collision and falling.

BEs aren't that useful in ME2 though - they're mostly for bonus AoE damage.
Learn physics combos instead, such as launching mooks into space or into bottomless pits. Instakills trump DPS/Burst damage everytime.
Case in point: Tela Vasir fight in LotSB is the fastest with biotic classes. Double Stasis/headshot combo to debuff, then lift --> punt off building Team Rocket style. Hilariously, she'll scamper back up to the roof of the Azure, only to die at your feet... from exhaustion, I guess.

Funnily enough I just posted this on a thread about favourite ME2 moments. There's something Wyle. E. Coyote-ish about how Lift (or are we on Pull in ME2? Can't remember) and Heavy Throw has her fly off about three blocks into the distance, and then instantly stagger back on to the blacony and die at you. And agree about environment kills generally. Ilium in particular seems to lend itself to environment kills, which is one of the reasons I like the missions there. Lots of holes to drop mooks in, lots of ledges to knock them off, and a renegade interrupt isn't the only way to push a mook out of a window.Locutus_of_BORG wrote...

"by Singularity, Pull, or Slam" + Domination (lev2-3-4, with Barrier on target)

I am postive that Dominate will not set up a Warp Detonation, unless it is bugged. I would have to check to see if that is the case.

I checked it out, and I can postively say that Dominate was not setting up a Warp Detonation. Enemies within the detonation radius take damage, and every time I warped a Dominated target, the enemies within the blast radius did not take damage. I think the visual effect and audio made it sound like a warp detonation but it was most certainly NOT a warp detonation.
