lol that one tournament when i was an alternate for slim i was still durnk fomr the night be4 when he wanted me to play lol. and last ight me and zilla got drunk after u left. it was pretty funny. drunk halo is fun. but if i'm gonna go for the record i'm gonna have to not drink while playing..... it will be weird.

I think some of speedruns need to be re-runned due to some of them were done before last patch (say hello to Primes), also they're missed Brute buff, some wave data changes, and weapon nerf (Piranha generally).

Armored compartments was not available when some of these were done. Game is much easier now than it used to be I'm sure plenty of them can and will be beat.

I'm really surprised no one has a better time in ghost gold. Jay/Dnought/myself and a pug had a 13 1/2 minute game there vs. Collectors.

Some of these are old times from when a group went through just to set a time for each map. They only did it a couple times until it was "decent," then moved on. Kinda like we're doing with Platinum now, for the most part.

A lot of these maps have only been run once, some of them long before armored compartments. A lot of these can be broken fairly easily, a couple don't have a time at all.

Makes sense. That would also explain why so many of the golds are actually longer than their platinum counterparts.

I've been wanting to get these guys to do some more Glacier runs, but I think they might be burnt on it. Maybe after we get done with our Platinum world tour.

You also need to have your team together and consistent enough so that when you get the right objectives you don't screw it up. That being said we just haven't had the time recently to tackle glacier. We wanted to set respectable times on all maps before we started again with glacier.

We spent like three hours, we kept getting hacks and devices. Best we got was like 9:07.

Yep its pretty deflating when you mess up a good objective run all it takes is a lone hunter or nemesis doing her chicken dance for clean up.

I'm sure you could. Even the 10:45 Platinum could be beat by the same team if they had 3 Pizzas (arguably the best objective for Goddess). Maybe by as much as a minute.

(By the way, the Xbox no-rocket run there is also with sub-optimal characters due to tournament restrictions. I'd bet if we ran that same run with 4 Infi's, we'd get a much closer time to PC's. Of course they did have both 'Trons...)

Yeah I believe with the advent of Armoured Compartments you should be able to get within 30 secs of what ever gold time is set. Our current Goddess time was only our 2 run today and Invaderone had never ran it before. Like i said before to get the lowest times possible it takes a more methodical approach and thats not what we are doing at this time. Once somebody beats a time we will go back to it. Also you will have to develop your own strategies on these maps besides the ones that have been laid out for you on youtube glacier, goddess, and giant. So I lke our chances.

oh we will always have one advantage over you when doing speedruns and it has nothing to do with controls, consoles or fps or anything .
also if you dont want people to beat your record you should keep your strat to yourself until you are sure no one can beat it then share it .
