I think it was RNC that had suggested hitting that spot. Same spot you were hitting. It certainly helped to go through it with you to see how it effects spawns. I'm still not sure how you were doing 8 & 9 in only 3 rockets, like Bechter said we kind of embraced the split. It was fun being able to collaborate with you on this one.
if you're all referring to the tactic i think you are, waves 7,8 and 9 can be handled by just looking at the wall closest to you (rocket position). look at the wall, wait a second, turn and shoot. if done right, wave 7 can be done in 4rockets, 8 in 3 and 9 in 3.
i showed aizen this, but i was pretty annoyed at that point with a certain individual...
its just a matter of controlling the the splits really well, they are very tight so the split positioning has to be specific. That could work too biggs but the strat aizen and the rest of our team has perfected never fails.

Oh nvm, misread your post biggs, thought you were talking about splits, yeah wave 8 and 9 are easy in 3 missiles but 7 is tricky, i usually have 1 bomber wander away, gonna try your wall trick next time.
best couple i had on 7, there was always 1 bomber that escaped out the back toward "the view" (as you mentioned), but was easily handled by whomever was there

Another sub 8. Pizza on wave 10 went pretty poorly but other than that a good run.
Congrats look like me and aizen have try break it more. I think possible 7.30 is possible.

Nice one guys. Are you keeping the video under wraps for awhile? I would think pizzas on wave 10 would be ideal, but I can see it being iffy on Jade.
targets are optimal for this run. same for other maps...
I would have thought targets are at the bottom of the list for wave 10 simply because spawns go all over the place. Pizza and perhaps escorts seem easier in my mind if you can trap the spawn with a recon mine while you finish the objective and can clean most of it up with one missile - in general for every map - ?? (edit - although I see you guys are working with some kind of split spawn space magic on Jade)

targets are most definitely optimal.

(only toyz time says 7.46, the rest of us, including host, read 7.44)

Targets can be forced into one spot for all 3, the final clean up spawn can also be forced into the same spot too under ideal conditions - I've had a target wave go from first target to wave completed in about 10 seconds or so on another map. Targets is the best objective on wave ten if you can replicate these conditions.

Yep, we'd always have someone with 4 or 5 missiles going into wave 10 so they would go straight to rocket position as soon as wave 9 finished in case of targets. Bang, bang, bang, bang....wave done.

Yes since bioware raised the missile cap we have 4 extra missiles

Well that explains a lot
Edit:
@Geekfest - In some of the earlier speedruns I've been involved with, we generally avoided using missiles on Targets unless we had them left over for wave 10.

Yeah the extra missile helps. Also if you get no splits this is the missile count
Wave 1 - 2 missiles
Wave 2 - 2 missiles
Wave 4 - 3 missiles
Wave 5 - 3 missiles
Wave 7 - 4 missiles
Wave 8 - 3 missiles
Wave 9 - 3 missiles
That's 20 missiles in total for non objective waves which leaves another 16 missiles to use for objective clean ups, targets etc. More than enough to missile all 3 target waves but then again how often do you get 3 target objectives?
