Yep. I was shooting through walls most of the game.

It is still the PS3 record as far as I know. Can't really compare each console that well due to varying factors (mostly load times).

That said, I am pretty sure most of them are up to date. I may have just forgot to give that screenshot to Geekfest since I did a fair amount of no missile speedruns on maps that hadn't been done before I stopped playing.

We had one person (sniper) above where you started looking down at the ammo box. 1 sniper by the back inside ammo box looking at the bottom of the ramp spawn. The other 2 people ran back and forth between the LZ and cubby whole spawns.

The 2 snipers just had to watch the high up bridge and bottom of the ramp spawn (rarely). We put both piercing mods on and sniped through walls a lot. I think we did 2 GI's (1 Javelin, 1 BW) and 2 DI's (harrier and Hurricane- I think).

We basically blocked off half the map and sniped through walls while the other 2 ran around the half where they would spawn killing if I remember correctly. 1 person at extraction, 1 person in the center under the beam, 1 person at the big ramp to the control room, and the other at the bottom ladder of the control room looking at that ledge where they jump up.

I was the one at the bottom ladder and used a Javelin to snipe through the walls over near extraction and that bottom ledge which is why I had such a low score.

I had never seen that Slim. A couple days ago when we had Bob the Elcor on we decided to attempt it because there was no time posted. I may have missed it though. I try to keep things current.

@ASmoothCriminal- just looked through my folder and Geek's list and they are all up to date as far as I know. I think we did that Giant run a day or 2 before Slim retired, so maybe it got lost in the shuffle.

Nice- I like the spawn control into that back area.  Also very lucky Wave 10 devices were all right by LZ.  Usually devices add sooo much time, but that was just as quick as any objective.

We also managed this a little earlier. Same deal with the video as the Gold/Giant run. Hopefully I'll have it up by tomorrow sometime.


No missile run on FB White || Platinum

@kocka for some reason we thought our Geth troopers and short range classes would be better on the smaller maps. We did Giant then Ghost then Hydra yesterday and realized snipers are a must.

The strat we used for our faster Giant run was one I planned out before SlimJim gave his advice, but it has its similarities. We force spawn at the bottom and expected the flips as the waves progress. Callouts were more helpful than anything I think.

I think you should also add the sub 20 Gold solos for Giant, Jade, White, London, Vancouver, Reactor and Goddess. You can find the records in the gold solo speedrunning group.
