HIYOOOOO Geraaaallt
Dandelion is far more rapacious in his appetite for women than Geralt.
But who learned from who? ![]()
Dandelion is handsome enough to be oft mistaken for an elf or half-elf, so I suppose things would go more smoothly for him. ![]()
Lol, are elves popular with the ladies in the witcherverse? ![]()
Lol, are elves popular with the ladies in the witcherverse?
I'm guessing not so much, given they are treated like second-class citizens. Dandelion has charisma though, which gives him an edge over Geralt's somewhat creepy (to humans anyway) demeanor.

Well, perhaps not popular, but they generally have very beautiful features akin to Tolkien's elves.

I love how the Hawke bearded Cassandra has been a thing for ages, but now it got some unintetional relevancy. ![]()

Probably the best upload so far. Combat seems less janky and more witchery in this vid. Visuals don't get any better.
Those animations are fantastic. I initially thought the dismemberment felt a bit over the top, but this looks really good.
And those water physics.. ![]()
To those with powerful enough computers I recommend downloading mentioned footage. It's 1,6 GB uncompressed, it looks sooooo good - and it's still "work in progress".
That swamp bring back memories of Witcher 1. Love the combat though. Looks much better than in Witcher 2.

Question. Would you recommend the Witcher games to someone who thoroughly enjoyed the hell out of the Elder Scrolls, Fable and Dragon's Dogma?
I'm pretty sure the third game should appeal to Elder Scrolls fans, if it delivers on the open world.

It's a pretty different beast than all of those, but I'd say give it a shot all the same.
Await the Steam summer sale, you'll probably be able to pick them up real cheap. Expect to put some time in getting to grips with UI and combat (start on easy).
You might use the first game in combination with a gamepad and Xpadder, worked for me (even if you have to keep your keyboard near you).
If you dislike Game of Thrones and similar kinds of fantasy, forget about it.

It's that kind of setting...

Totally. For the Emperor!
I hope we'll get to see more of Radovid, or even Henselt if you spared him during TW2. Tretogor isn't too far off from Novigrad, though I doubt we'll get to visit the capital of Redania. ![]()
