Er... The above pic reminds me too much of this:

Too Many Dicks on the Dance Floor

No offense, but I wouldn't want Geralt's companions in the next game (if he has any) to be all dudes. I like Roche a lot (Siegfried I have no opinion of, since I never played the first game), but surely there's room for some womenfolk in the mix. Perhaps Triss or Yennifer?

 I'd replace Seigfried with Vess.

For what reason would this be if you dont mind me asking? Why is the gender of Geralt's companions important to you? With so many complaining about the sexualization of women in the Witcher I never imagined anyone would complain that the game is a sausage fest.

You'd replace Siegfried? Heresy! He's basically Geralts bromance! Don't deny it! :D

Uh.... Because I happen to like strong female characters in my fantasy (and no I don't mean that kind of fantasy)? I'm quite fond of the women that we're featured in the second game (faves being Triss, Cynthia, Saskia and even Philippa). The last few fantasy RPG's I've played have featured such great  females like Leliana (Dragon Age: Origins), Aveline (Dragon Age 2) and even Lydia in Skyrim. And it's my fervent wish that The Witcher 3 feature a bunch of new female NPC's for Geralt to interact with.

Anyway, in regards to what I said about the pic above, I was not entirely serious you know. I was joking for the most part.

Indeed I hope the option is there I plan to pick it, Besides Geralt doesn't believe in fate so screw fate. But also whatever Geralt used to think or believe is no longer relevant since old Geralt is dead he died when he gave himself to the Wild Hunt. Geralt is our Geralt now with a new prospective on life and his beliefs =D

Do you mean canon Geralt? I'm pretty sure the Witcher one put a lot of focus onto this question. I'd hate it to be retconned now.

Good lord. This game hasn't even come out yet, and someone is already claiming he won't play it for the stupidest reason:

No More Witcher for RazörFist (And Why) - VLOG 28

Bah.  much Ado about nothing.

It's no big catastrophy to copy Michael Moorcock.  I've been doing it for years.  My Username on this forum  is a direct name-theft of a Michael Moorcock character  (from the Elric series, in fact)

PS:  But to be fair to Razorfist, he didn't say he wasn't going to play  it, just that he won't be reviewing it.

Guys, guys...way too much thinking, Yen will just kill Triss when she finds out and solve the romance dilemma :D

I wish that would happen, it won't though so the Triss fans can stay with her. Also because CDP loves Triss more then the other female characters.

I hope it too. I mean, not helping her when she went for Vilgefort, letting Geralt believe she had betrayed him, wanting to use Ciri as a breeding mare, and now this. Triss has a lot of bad karma waiting for her.

Haha, he did say "I'm too old for this" pretty often in TW2 when in combat. Thanks for the link. The CDPR people seem really sympathetic. I like how they summed up the main criticisms and specifically stated what they intended to do to improve it. That comes across as very genuine and it sounds like they truly want to make a game that the fans will appreciate the most.

Also, the Polish accent sounds rather cute.:innocent: Wiiitcher.

He deserves a break from The Witcher. The whole team does. Good interview, and very sincere. No slick PR stuff, just the devs talking.

Yeah canon Geralt, though it's actually destiny he doesn't believe in.

I don't know if the 360 version difficulty levels have been modified to be easier, but I played both on Normal and Dark Mode the prologue, and I didn't have that much problem, and I'm not that good.
About the game, I hope that they manage to make a  good open world game without sacrificing the narrative  quality the previous games had.
I trust them, though a GI scan posted in the offical TW forum had me a bit concerned about the quality of the political quests. I loved their work on politics in both games, and while I know that the war and all the political consequences will not be related to the main quest (fine with this) I want the game to mantain the quality standard of TW and TW2.
About Triss and Yennefer, I didn't read the books (though I'm going to order them when I'll have more free time) but from what I read about Yen, and what Letho said about her in TW2, I'm not sure I'm going to like her.
While it's not my primary concern about TW3 (as the romances in Bioware's game aren't, for me), I'd like to have the option of choosing between her and Triss.

I expect lots of optional sidequests, maybe as an Elder Scrolls game (or rather Morrowind, the only one I´ve really played), and a few hubs with main plots narrative as we´ve seen so far. So if you get tired of walking around you go to one and play the story. From what they said, main plot will also be longer than W2.

Mostly b/c people weren't accustomed to the gameplay mechanics with the lack of a tutorial, and even then, the enemies were tougher to beat since Geralt lacked certain skills. That's why the game became gradually easier the more skills you unlocked.

Us Xbox users and people who first played the game with the Enhanced Edition had a much easier entry point into the game, thanks to the tutorial.

Also, here's a funny article. It is quite understandable what kind of position they are in.
