Nope. It's not that hard with conventions now to meet these guys. I got to meet Martin himself at a con. Cool dude.

I'm guessing the combat when faced with a group will be easier. Well at least during the first hours. Judging by all the news and screen shots, we'll be coming across groups of enemies in the wilds often.

One of the things that annoys me about the Witcher 2 is how disadvantageous it is when fighting a group. They get double damage on you when attack from behind and your attacks only hit the enemy you're focusing on. That is until you unlock the abilities to negate damage from behind and damage multiple enemies. The later skill I'm hoping is available from the start this time.

Naah, it's legit. It even says "Gra o Tron" in the background, which is Polish for "Game of Thrones". Besides, it's from their facebook page : ]

Oh man I hope they both play the game. Or watch someone do it at least.

Cannot wait for this.

I just hope the combat is more responsive, fluid and some of the janky combat mechanics are improved on (blocking etc).

Claims of "redefining the rpg" are being made, so I have very high expectations. Between this and Dark Souls II, I'm going to be in rpg heaven. :)

Just wait till Bethesda announces Fallout 4. No one here will have a social life.

@Prince. That's a fanboy pic if there ever was one. I wonder if the GOT actors even know of The Witcher.

Apparently there's gonna be a funny TW3 themed video tomorrow - one "that will make you laugh". Ok. I'll hang on to that, though as everyone I would like to see some of that imperfect behind the scenes gameplay :P Now, off-topic.

Here is the thing. Holiday started for me and I decided it's a job time - damn, I have time and I have motivation. I look at my faithful Sony Vaio laptop and realize that it just won't cut it for all those beautiful games coming in late '13 and then in 2014. It's time for CHANGE. And by that, I mean a new PC.
The goal is 1000 $ rig. I'm gonna slave myself as long as I need to until I reach that point :( Today was my first payday - 100 $ in already [well, actually 105 $, remember Poland here].

GOAL: 1000 $

FUNDS: 105 $

I estimate that I will reach the goal in about 7-8 weeks. So, yeah... and I know you don't care :P Wish me strength, guys.

I would say save as much as you can and wait until 2014. The game is a long way off.

I wish you success! W3 will definitely be worth it, imo. If I ever figure out how to enable Life's console for using codes, I'll let you know.

Thanks for the nice words, guys. They pay me every Monday, so I will update weekly. When I have a little time I will write what it is exactly that I'm doing. Off-topic end ; ]

Very good :)
There is a some nice little pieces of music.

We have so much thing to make us wait for the game, it's very good. I hope they will keep the pace.

I got into chapter 3 of The Witcher. Siding with Triss because, well, it's a bit of a railroad job in W2 anyway, and I think she's better looking, in W1 anyway. I always enjoy that bit of private investigator in chapter 2, having read Sherlock Holmes books and seen the original movies (have the restored collection on blu-ray).

This time I'm not being a stickler for quest completion in order to strictly pursue the neutral path. That means I'm not assisting Yaevinn or the Order unless forced to (Gold Rush in Chapter 3). I've done the other paths just to see how they play out, and neutral is by far my favorite. That leaves me in a bit of a quandry in W2 though. In W1 Temeria is the neutral path, which means I'd have to support Roche in W2 to be consistent.

Thankfully W3 will free Geralt of his political shackles, it seems. I can't wait.

^Again, if you're really going for Triss, the more neutral path in TW2 could be going with Iorveth to directly pursue Letho and find Triss. So you still have a choice. ;)

Directly, but inefficiently. In Iorveth's path you stay one step behind and try to catch up, which Letho won't let you do easily

With Roche, you go to the most probable next target and try to ambush him there.

Well, facebook fanboy sheep army is a reason here I guess. And "new ip" reason (which is pure bs but who cares).  Anyway last 4 is good result in Gamespot poll I think.
