Yennefer or Triss you say ? why not kill them both, sorceresses are treacherous by nature and i can't take the chance to let them live !, you heard it here first Yennefer as final boss in TW3.
hehehehe
Unfortunately for you Yennefer is one person which will not be a final boss in TW3 ( she won't be even a regular boss so... give up) I'm not sure about Triss though

You forgot that she has amnesia too

I imagine, if they want to have a final battle it's gonna be something involving The Wild Hunt. For all the people who have not read the books, just wait till you see how twisted, cruel and plain evil these guys really are : ]

Well, they've said already that there won't be any regular boss encounters in the game.

Well hard to kill someone "long ago" when you're amnesiac, more like finding out and act accordingly but i get what you mean.Am1_vf wrote...
If Yen was concerned about Geralt cheating she would have killed him a looong time ago, not to mention it would be quite the hypocrite. Still, with her amnesia and the way she is I think her being a boss is plausible. But I doubt they would do that... except maybe in a Saren kind of way where you can convince her right before the final fight?

I'll rephrase then: she would have killed him in the second book.
And I'm a fan of the books (you know the kind, saying "the book was better") and I like the idea. Geralt would hate it though, poor guy never gets a rest.

If you didn't notice the whole idea with Yennefer coming back and want vengeance was sarcasm and the games are not the books.Am1_vf wrote...

And I get that the games are not the books (but they are still better).

no one said anything what's better books or games, i usually refrain from saying anything on that topic.Am1_vf wrote...
So?, It's still a interesting Idea that the protagonist's love of his life tries to kill him. I felt like developing it a little

I don't blame you for that
Anyway I got a feeling that story with Yen in TW3 will be strongly connected with books.
btw It's pretty funny that Topic about the game which isn't even close to release date have 63 pages already.

Agree.
If they want to do justice to Yennefer and Ciri they better focus on these two characters A LOT.
Since main plot of the Witcher 3 is Geralt searching and helping his loved ones, while side quests will most likely cover politics, monster hunting and all that good stuff.
However i have faith in CDP, all eastablished characters from the books that appeared in the games were well done and justifiable IMO. Here's hoping we will also meet Emhyr

Ehhh... Geralt didn´t sleep with anyone else when he considered their relationship was on the "on" phase, which is more than Yenn can claim. Only cheating he did knowingly was having sex with Fringilla Vigo one last time after finding out the truth (Yenn guesses there was someone, but let it slide).
Don´t expect Yenn to be angry with Geralt for TW1&2, but with Triss she now has a very long list of reasons to hate her.

Well, she was always like her younger sister so.... no. She would be little angry for sure, but hate is a strong word here.

You are provably right, I got a little lost about when was "on or off" with Yen because of the short stories kind of thing the books had and I havent had time to read them all a second time
But, wasn't she seeing some mage guy while still with Geralt? The guy with long nails and disgusting flasks. Again, I might be mistaken.

I'm currently in the middle of The Last Wish, and I also got Blood of Elves ready to go. That's all I need right? As in, when people talk about "the books". Because those are the only ones translated?
There's also The Time of Contempt: http://www.amazon.com/dp/0575085088
