Moronic radical feminists are always butthurt over something.

The trailer is actually Geralt from the books through and through. He's being impulsive.
And hell, maybe she was guilty. He saved her anyway.

Then he said "killing monsters" and then I knew...
Geralt is Batman's great grandfather.

Just make sure to go around in Dragon Age's CGI trailer thread to brag about how much better the Witcher 3 CGI trailer is.Jayne126 wrote...

Honestly I dislike it really. They could have made something as awesome as TW1 trailer which showed that epic fight between Geralt and the Strigga, important lore and story wise that one, or TW2 trailer which showed the assassination performed by Letho.

I thought it significant in its own way. It establishes the brutality of the world and the moral code in which it abides by, and it gives us an idea on who Geralt really is.
Of course, to someone who is familiar with the series, it says very little.
This also confirms that the person he's travelling with is not Ciri, well, at least not in this section of the CGI trailer.

I think the trailer was awesome. Really set the mood, and clearly refers to the previous games with the "lesser evil" comments.

The trailer was better then previous witcher titles. It shows how the world is so ****ed up and how Geralt looks at it and his decisions. Dbest part about it is that Geralt acted exactly like he would in the books.
DA:I trailer is Disney compared to this.

I can imagine some people criticising the imagery used, it did started to border on a bit over-indulgent with violence, but I don't really have a problem with that unless it's done too much, then it gets distracting. That said this is still simply a cinematic trailer and there's no reason to sprout criticism over it.
I thought it was pretty cool, it's another demonstration of how faithful to the books this Geralt is, and is always nice to see him Geralt killing some sh¡t.
However I honestly don't like this sort of really fast moving, overly silky smooth animation, it's awkward to look at; At times it almost seems like the characters have no bones and are made of rubber or something. Reminds me of that "Mars Needs Mom" movie (I think was the name), and "The Polar Express" in some intances.
But that's just nit picking.

Did you guys notice the crest on the soldiers? Its Nilfgaardian. And what Geralt actually says regarding his original purpose as a monster hunter and the current situation in the North. I think it's a nice lead on from TW2 where Letho and Geralt are no longer just monster hunters, they've been politicised by the events and the invasion.
The invasion of the North affects everyone, like the Witchers, where they are no longer impartial or were at least seen to be.

Those weren´t trailers, they were about 5 minutes long at least, and ended as intros. And Letho´s wasn´t included until the expansion.
The soldiers read the charges before they hang her, in the name of the Emperor etc...

Specially for me it's nice to see that not every developer thinks all (specially trailers) has to be huge explosions, fireballs raining and saving the world.
Omg, lol that's...simfamSP wrote...

Hm... you think we might be able to fight without using a sword?
Might be, though the two swords will undoubtedly remain the core of Geralt's combat.
