^ Going back to Murky Waters with the exact same soundtrack redone would be too much nostalgia to handle. Maybe even see the Lady of the Lake again.

Not sure if it was noted here, but Witcher 3 beat out the PS4 as Most Wanted in the Golden Joystick awards.

I'm pretty sure my canon Geralt still has Aerondight in his inventory.

Though, it's been a while, but wasn't keeping it a glitch anyway? I recall Saskia...flying off with it...

I don't think it was a glitch, but one of the benefits of having a character imported. If you play without import, you do lose your sword and have to craft a new one in Flotsam.

Nice. How's the book? Without giving much spoilers, is it on par with the saga and short stories? Do we get to see some old characters?

If I ever get a chance to write a short story for whatever reason, I'll just rehash that trailer. Then, when I get my grade, I'll confess it was from a game.

And I'll let the irony ensue for Mr. "Games-are-bad-for-you" xD

Pfft, someone's already done it on youtube -.-

Take a look:

A distant voice. Nilfgaardian. “By order of the Emperor of Nilfgaard. For the murder of the wounded, looting, cannibalism... you are herebysentenced to death by hanging or torment.” A distant voice. A scream.

The hunt was difficult, Vesimir and I are two tired Witchers, relics of a world now forgotten. Some days, I barley make by. We are not loved,we are outcasts. Hated by the ignorant, feared by the strong, played by the wise. It matters not: all that is important is the Path, and the Orens that come with it.

No Man's Land, a fitting name. The earth here has been soiled by the blood of both the North and South. It would be a lie to say it was once a place of beauty, it was just like any other, to be honest, I've forgotten... like so much of my past it bends to the weight of my identity: the real question, the one I intend to answer.

But not now. Now it is business.

A woman? So this is the cannibal? A petty thing, and most probably true. There is naught a crop to harvest or a beast to kill. The starving do what they must to survive. And now they beat her... the irony. It's almost amusing, if it weren't for thought of the aftermath.

Don't meddle, take the reward and let's go.”Vesimir...wise words. Hard words. My teacher, my mentor... it was he who struck the killing blow. The bastard has it in him still. I– No, he is right. Stay on the Path, a Witcher is neutral, he does not meddle in the affairs of humans... if it is even the correct term for this lot.

Help me!” She reached out, the **** and mud dry on her face...the tears are all but gone, the pain from her ribs as they kick overwhelms her senses.

No! Stay on the Path.

Knew you Witchers wouldn't scorn Imperial gold.” A balding head, a breath that reeks of ale, an accent birthed in rock and water, a face so grim the crows squawk “****.” Definitely Nilfgaardian.

I threw the head on the ground. Let them look at who they are. He tossed the gold, the leather pouch was full. Good. There's at least some good of this.

Tough hunt?” He said. The grunts of pain are softening... they've kicked her diaphragm, the air must be escaping her. It must be hard to breath under four heavy boots. I've been there before, it is...unpleasant.

Tougher than yours, that's certain.” His eyes a beady little things, ugly and empty, deprived of the humanity that died with his comrades. War is war, it dulls the soul; blunts morality. And despite this, I still enjoyed the look of shame. The shame of truth, the truth of evil.

I carried on grudgingly. The cries for help persist as they drag her to the stump. Barbarians.

Evil is evil. Lesser, greater, middling; makes no difference.

Argh! The **** bit me.”
Bring her down, do it my way!”
You like that you ****?”
Get the hammer.”

The degree is arbitrary, the definitions blurred. If I'm to choose between one evil and another. I'd rather not choose at all.

Please!”

Roach stayed as I leaped. The silver sword was my choice.

Just make it quick, Geralt.”

Vesimir's right, I'll do this quickly.

The bald one locked her in his arms; she couldn't struggle, how could she? The contractor looks at me, his face still grim as stone.

What the-”

He's at the side, the man's feet was off balance, I'm surprised he didn't fall. Now the accomplice, I grab him and shift my weight to the right, all that is left if the bald one. An Aard sign:simple and effective. This bastard fell at least.

She fell to the floor, her legs weak, the blood thin. “Close your eyes” I said. This will be quick indeed.

Bald runs towards me, club drawn. Predictable, foolish.

Hit him!”

Forearm grabbed, the motion continues, I lift him and throw him onto the accomplice. Bald is disarmed and his club is in my hands. The contractor thinks himself strong enough to pull me away, the fool. The accomplice's cheekbone meets Bald's club.

Crack!

I wind the contractor, the ****er umphs, his arm is twisted before he realises. The dagger, I unsheathe. It's time
to draw blood. I bash him in the nose, he falls. They've all eaten **** now. Good.

Right arm blocked, Bald's face cringes at the wound beneath his pit: there's a 2 foot dagger within.

Accomplice feels he's faster than a Witcher, I prove him wrong. A cut to the abdomen incapacitates him. They've all felt pain now. Good.

Bald persists. I turn around, his neck his open: I lunge, a precision stab: he probably felt nothing. Accomplice
persists, I twist him around, my armed hand remains as I slit his throat open. A precision cut, though he did feel the pain.

Three down, two dead.

I turn. The contractor hasn't ran. Good.

The grim is gone, replaced by fear: fear of death, fear of damnation, fear of pain and fear of me.

The dagger isn't necessary, his life is not on my hands: it's on hers.

Wha- What are you doing?”

The irony...

New Trailer for The Witcher 3 confirmed ! It's gonna be shown... at VGX. Ughh... Well, I guess I will be watching it.

It was confirmed in the new episode of GT.TV - 10:24. You can see some new bits from the trailer AND they look AMAZING. New armors, new monster... and a swamp ? Looks like the one near Vizima, with the tower in the background and all.

No game has any right to look that good. F*ckin hell.

Looks like I'm going to be watching the VGA's. Has anyone ever watched them for the actual awards? Everything between the trailers is just pointless nonsense.

Trailers are obviously for promoting products, and then they have MORE ads between them. The rest... yeah, pointless nonsense.

Doubt even a TW3 trailer will get me interested in that trainwreck of a show.

I've never had much interest in the Witcher games. I tried the first game and couldn't get into it. Geralt was too defined for my usual tastes in RPGs and the gameplay left me cold.

...I think I might want to give this one a shot though.
