I welcome the delay.  Too many other games on my plate this year. :)

Loving some of the remarks for the delay on Gamespot:

Best one so far "Needed the time for better boob physics."  didn't know Team Ninja was helping develop the game :D

Well, of course you didn't know they were involved. I mean... they are Team NINJA, after all.

Delayed to February 2015, oh well. :/

Unsurprising, and what I was hoping for anyway. The game doesn't have enough development time and if they were planning to release this year, they would've named the release date long ago.

For such an ambitious amount of stuff in it the release date did seem uneasily close. I'll take this as a good thing.

I'm glad, I want them to take as much time as they need.

I'm cool with the delay. I think it'll be even better for it.

I can afford to wait to 2020 but not longer ! but yeah considering the scope of the game i'm not especially surprised, i think it was just a question about when the delay would be announced, sooner or later.

This is a pretty hefty delay, considering CDPR was just saying they were going to announce the release date back in January. Frankly, I don't mind the wait. I will need a new GPU for TW3 and I was worried the game was going to come out before the Nvidia Maxwell series.

Yes, I still need a new GPU for TW2 :P

Might as well wait till you find out what can run for TW3 and purchase for that range, lmao.

I don't mind the delay. Fall is always crowded with games anyway, so this will create more room.

Wasn't the Cyberpunk 2077 game also releasing in 2015?

Is it a completely different team working on that?

Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled for release "when it's ready."

Delay does not bug me, allows me more time to upgrade the old PC.

This gives me time to replay W1 and W2 one or more times in preparation for W3, not to mention allowing more time to see what hardware is available by the time this ships. I'm even willing to put off installing the game for a short time if new hardware is just around the corner.

I didn't think Bioware was overly sweating the release of the Witcher.

That's more a PC then console game considering it came to consoles quite late while Bioware has been entrenched in the console Market for a long while now.

Its delayed? Good.

Gives me more time to actually play the Witcher 2.

I doubt BioWare wishes anything but the best for CDPR. After all, BioWare provided them with the Aurora engine so CDPR could do the first Witcher game.

More to the point: delays like this don't bother me. As others have noted, more time for polishing is never a bad thing. And, like Yukari's bow noted, this gives more time to build my new rig.

Well, I thought it was funny. :P

I'm not taking it seriously, Bioware has spent plenty of time on DA3.

Nooooooo!

Oh well. More time to save for the new GPU and surround system.
