I really like the Geralt design. That beard. That armor.
The armor does look cool. I'm digging the mail shirt.
The Witcher has always had excellent medium or light armor designs though.

Agreed! I'm really looking forward to more armor designs that will appear in the game.

I concur -- The armor designs for the male characters in the Witcher are quite good.
I really dig the new King of the Wild Hunt armor, I wonder if any cosplayer will try to pull that off.

I'm just happy the King is at last coming back in his real form instead of using his silly looking specter form from the first game.

Is he suppose to give off a Sauron vibe? Or is that just me? xD

Sounds like y'all have no problems with the art, then.
Good. We can avoid the following

I'm pretty sure I heard the game director mention somewhere that mounted combat would not be the primary way to fight, since Witchers generally fight on foot.
Dat midday bride tho

I hope we can switch back to Geralt's old swish-arse leather jackets doe.
Yes, I want that too. But I'm sure that will be an option ![]()

If CDProjekt treats Triss anyway Bioware treated Liara, she'll still be able to secretly sleep with you and be your final thoughts if you die.
Sorry, I can't help but do some Liara-canon-LI bashing here and there.
I prefer the direction they took in the Witcher 2. The romance for Triss in TW1 was your typical 'yeah I love you' in the end crap. Whilst in the Witcher 2 they kind of bounce in and out of the 'love' thing. You can say you care for her, but never in the sort of contrived, half-assed 'I love you so much' way you did in the Witcher.
Though it did leave kind of a retconned feeling, seeing as in the first whether you say you love her or not you're pretty much back to square one. But in the end, it's for the best.

Retcons due to the unmanageability of import continuity usually are.

Ya'll still hung up on Shani?
I'm hung up on the impossibility of a Save Import system that doesn't force retcons or canon. That's about it - it's a chronic condition I have.

Animations have to be the most noticable improvement, compared to the previous games.

Oh CDProject, you:

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II didn't retcon anything on import, only your shared loot stash.
The fact that it is a hack&slash might had to do something with it, but still!
Jokes aside, it's near impossible to do, there will always be something missing. You should let the notion go, whatever the devs might claim.

On the contrary, I actually actively campaign against games using the Save Imports. It can never be anything other than the lightest of reference to past decisions, will invoke retcons regardless and, despite this, still winds up consuming large amounts of resources and constricts how the devs can create the game they make.
Let a game have choices and don't worry about continuity. If it can't be delivered without retcons and forced outcomes, then it's best not to be engaged in at all, given how much work it takes to maintain while not being able keep up the illusion it strives for.
It is like a magician who pays hundreds of thousands of dollars to house, feed and care for an elephant, because the crowd wants them to make an elephant disappear. Yet when the trick is done, it is blatantly obvious to the crowd how the magic trick is done and no one is impressed or entertained. Just give up - you can't make an elephant disappear on stage.

I know, it all just seems so silky and smooth. I would love to see some proper footage of the combat, CD Project Red have insisted that Geralt's fighting style will be much more improved on what it was in The Witcher 2. Supposedly in the books Geralt's fights a lot like he does in the'Killing a Monsters' trailer and The Witcher 3's combat is supposed to reflect that.

I didn't like how they handled the Shani/Triss thing in The Witcher 3, but I wouldn't object to waking up next to Triss. ![]()
