I do believe this argument has gained a life of it's own. I can only hope it does not gain self-awareness and enslave us all.

The thread isn't just asking which side fired first, it's a discussion on who started the conflict in general. 

Also, just because that's the point of the thread, doesn't mean the initial argument can't still be irrelevant. 

Yeah it kinda does, because a thread starts with a premise and builds on it, not disregards the premise in order to have a seperate arguement entierly. Than it just becomes a derailed thread.

Anyway, I'm just kicking back, doing my homework, and eating some fresh musubi's while watching this thread. It's pretty good fun to see.

Can, and that doesn't mean they all survive. 

How are the krogan going to find the resources to support that many, given that the asari are already established on the planet? 

Take them from the asari. 

How do they do that? 

By force.

I've got (slightly) more proof than you. Krogans are an aggressive race taking worlds the Council told them to stop taking. Odds are in my favor that the Krogan were violent before the Council was.

That the idea that who fired first doesn't matter is a thought.

Zero aggression? The Krogan warlord whats-his-face (one of Grunt's greatgreatgranddads) did everything but literally spit in the Council's faces, basically saying that Lusia now belonged to him, irrelevant of the native Asari there, and dared the Council to take it back. 

In fact, I'd wager that sounds like a declaration of war.

Oh yeah.....how dare they try to save a colony of innocents from the mindless murdering krogan. I wouldn't have used the genophage.....I would have used a complete 100% sterility virus on the Krogan and then I would have blown up their planet.....just as they destroyed many planets by driving asteroids into them just to see how they'd like it. After that I would have deployed all available council military forces across the galaxy under orders to find and eliminate all remaining Krogan.

Not really. The idea that the krogan use their rate of reproduction, a long, difficult, and fragile method to gain dominance in an area, as opposed to brute force which they're good at and use all the time, and is far quicker, has no evidence.

He would've detonated a planet-destroying bomb (and probably more than just one) the DAY the Krogan overstepped their bounds. Primitive.

No it wasn't. That was right before. It couldn't have happened after the attacks, since the Krogan on Lusia had all surrendered after that point.

We're talking about the krogan here, they like war, they thrive on conflict, they don't have the organization or the foresight to care about the cost.

I think the krogan are far more likely to choose the quick, fun, and direct method of getting what they want, as opposed to the slow, boring, and complicated one.

No it wasn't. That was right before. It couldn't have happened after the attacks, since the Krogan had all surrendered after that point.

. You must have missed the examples of non-violent annexations.  The Krogan established the groundwork for the war, but the council fired first.
