I gave up for a while, but am going to go for it again.
Any tips other than "point and shoot", "headshots", and "look both ways before crossing the street"?

That's pretty much it. Powers usually tend to stop an enemy for a second too, so you can fire a power, line up your shot, and shoot (as opposed to trying to chase a Dragoon all over the place in your scope).spaceling wrote...

Which guns do you have left to complete?

M-98 Widow
Black Widow
M-90 Indra
N7 Valiant
The rest, I've started, but it's painfully sloooow.

Good point. Maybe stunning an enemy or using cryo may help a bit. I'm usually a good shot without ammo upgrades or relying on powers, but with the low power sniper rifles, it's taking forever it seems.

3 full Gold games - one rifle complete.

Raptor on silver with heavy barrel and heavy scope - except for the fact you have to click for every shot, the fire rate and handling reminded me of the Indra.
Maybe try the Kishock? I gave myself a chance to get used to it doing bronze solos and then found I really liked it. There are also some good threads around here for learning how to use it. Try the Kishocking for Beginners thread to start: http://social.biowar.../index/15341495
Upside of doing Kishock is after you get the hang of it, Javelin will be pretty easy for you.
Those last two suggestions depend on whether you've unlocked those guns yet, of course.

i would go for Gold group, honestly. i've gotten 75 SR kills with the SI and BW combo. i play like Bryan does where i use ED to stun and then quick scope.spaceling wrote...
All good tips. Thanks! I'll try soloing silver with either a HI, GI, or SI and see how it goes!

Use the Javelin on the GI and blast through everything from mooks to bosses.

Mantis is like a mini widow so it goes really quick. Also the kishock and jav on gold you can get it done in one round easily.
Remember using gear means more damage and speeds up the challenge.

Don't think that's ever been done lol.

Just spec Energy Drain, Prox. Mine, and TC for damage, as well as your passives for weapon damage and put on some Phasic/AP Rounds and sniper amplifiers (gear/consumables).
When shooting at shielded enemies just go TC, fire ED and shoot, because of stun effect you'll have time to aim for the head whilst still invisible so you'll get the 40% + 40% + 25% TC sniper bonus damage + your passives' + ammo's + gear/consumables'.
When facing armored targets it's the same process, but using PM instead of ED.
Take into account enemies will give you more points on higher difficulties but since you're not speccing health Plat will probably be way too much, so I think Gold is ok.
Rinse and repeat. I think that should help.

With the Krysae, use the Drell Vanguard with Disruptor/Incendiary ammo. Use it to prime, then detonate with Charge/Grenades. Or go with an AR-less HSold with Cryo Ammo. Prime with the Krysae, then use the shatter/shredder Evolutions on CShot for massive damage. It gets the challenge done, it's fun, and it's almost certainly a build you've never tried.
With the Kishock, go with a themed build. Like the Vorcha Engineer or BatSent with SubNet. Pretend you're hunter with a spear gun. Tons of fun. Kishock also works well on multiple Vanguards. You're often at point blank range, so you don't have to worry about the lag/drop of the spear. If you charge the Kisock fully, then Biotic Charge, the Kishock will actually fire halfway through the BC animation. It will hit wherever the reticule was aimed when you started BC. You can use this to spear an enemy before you get there, then BC will usually finish the kill.

worked great on the destroyer with explosive rounds(on silver though)longgamma wrote...
Well I did the big mistake of completing it with the garbage Krysae. Please don't use, it even incendiary ammo does not make it any good.

Collector SR: Shrug. Any infiltrator specced for sniper damage.
Incisor: Character with stability. Turian Sentinel, Warp, Warp Ammo.
Javelin: Easy. Aim for bosses if you can't hit the mooks.
Kishock: Stasis or SubNet Sniper. Host these games.
Krysae: Kit with RoF boost. GE, Disruptor Ammo, Overload. Or GI, Incendiary Ammo, Proximine.
Mantis: Skip.
Raptor: Infidrell with maxed weapon damage.
Viper: Kit with RoF boost. Turian Soldier is fun with this gun.
In general, any infiltrator specced for damage will kill stuff quick with a sniper. I finished the 200K Raptor Challenge in three games with my Infidrell; hand hurt afterward.
The QFI can make weapon challenges go quick. Sabotage is bugged with respect to point attribution. If it kills an enemy, all points for the kill go to whatever OTHER damage source contributed to the kill. So one bullet from your raptor is all it takes to get all the points from the kill.

Here's some general tips. Play Silver, host, use a kit that has a stunning ability, don't do any objectives and just go on a killing spree (ya I know it's pretty bad), play around with your sensitivity till you get a good 'feel' for aiming if you are indeed a bad shot, and sniper rifle rail amps
Also if you are playing against a fast moving faction like Cerberus or Collectors try to get them in cover, and then pop their head through cover. Also with guns like the Javelin, Kishock try to lead your shots a bit. Again these guns are great for penetrating cover too. Shoot the mobs in cover 1st. Stun the ones moving or lead your shots, gotta host for this though.
