Heya everyone. I'm new to playing DAO and am loving it right now. I recently killed Dwynn from Redcliff and got his awesome sword and figured I should probably kill more peeps to get goodies like this Posted Image.

So does anyone know of any strong swords, daggers, armor (I'm a Rouge) that anyone drops? Much abliged.

Unlike other games, most of of your most powerful equipment you don't get off a drop, but buy. There are some however:
1) Tevinter's Mage Quest - 4 battles (tough) get you full set of Juggernaught armor (massive)
2) High Dragon - scales from this make awesome armor can be medium, heavy or massive.
3) Drakes - their scales can be made into decent rogue armor

Since you are rogue, thought I would mention most people agree the Rose's Thorn, bought from a merchant in Ozzamar is the best dagger - pricy, though 148 gold or so.

Other than using the High Dragon scale armor, a lot of people (myself included) think the Felon's Coat is one of the best rogue pieces of armor you can get (buy in this case), from Wade's Emporium.

Thank you. That dagger sounds tempting.. any way to make some quick money to buy it? The most I ever had was around 12 gold but kept having to buy backpacks and some uselful items like tomes.

I don't know of any "quick" methods of making money in Dragon Age. In Lothering, you can do the "traps are a girl's best friend" quest multiple times, since the triggers cost less than the reward, and the merchant in the tavern has infinite triggers. Will have to be real patient to garner 148 gold doing that though...

For my own runs, I make Potent Lyrium potions if I'm wanting a lot of money. What's important is to get your components (other than Lyrium) from Nord's Noble Tavern, then you make a profit. You don't if buying from Bodahnn Feddig. It requires master herbalism from someone, and I usually don't bother until I have about 60 gold to do this tradeskilling.
