BioWare doesn't make their own CGI trailers. They hand those assignments to third party animation studios, like Blur.Timbaroo wrote...
I personally think BioWare should simply create an entire CGI series. The Old Republic trailers, all roughly 20 minutes combined (way rough number, don't quote me on that), were better than any single prequel movie to me. BioWare did in a 7 minute CGI trailer what Lucas couldn't do in a two hour+ film.

We need someone like that to tell Lucas to shut up, because you know he will still try and bully his ideas into the new movie.

George Lucas didn't want to do another one, but then he decided to retire in style. He sold Lucasfilm and all its companies (ILM, Skywalker Sound, LucasArts, etc.) to Walt Disney Studios for 4 billion dollars. Since Lucas was the only owner, he received all of it. He then donated the full 4 billion to education.PnXMarcin1PL wrote...

And now that Disney is 4 billion dollars poorer, they want to release more Star Wars movies very quickly, with two year intervals starting 2015.

Back in August he told Hamill & Fisher there might be more SW movies. Let´s see what happens, I liked ST reboot, but with SW I´m more concerned about who writes the script (not the plot) than who directs, although I´d like they would keep the references to the old movies SW is inspired by.

Michael Arndt is writing the screenplay based on a treatment written by George Lucas. Arndt was the writer of Little Miss Sunshine and Toy Story 3. One of the next movies will be written by Lawrence Kasdan, who wrote Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi.Nerevar-as wrote...

I have only seen a handful of J.J. Abrams works--which notably would assumably be his best ones--the editing, cinematography, special effects and sometimes the sound mix have been "state-of-the-art", so I'm certain he'll deliver at least a spectacular visual show.
But ultimately, the story and characters play a much larger role than visuals. What lifted Star Trek into the ether was the rightness of its casting and playing (if you want to ignore that the film deliberately deemphasizes heady concepts and plainly stated humanist virtues in favor of breathless action), Abrams could pull it off. As long as they don't sacrifice characterization aspects for visual ones, like they did for the prequels, it's possible it won't be a total flop.
Basically flip a coin.

At least Nemesis had real Romulans, not the kind you get from your local Rent-A-Romulan that are just humans with pointed ears and emo tattoos.

The trilogy writers are:
Michael Arndt (Little Miss Sunshine, Toy Story 3)
Lawrence Kasdan (Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark)
Simon Kinberg (Sherlock Holmes, X-Men: The Last Stand)
Edit: Kasdan and Kinberg are consultants on Episode VII, according to the press release. They may also write the sequels, but I'm not sure if that's official yet. It was implied in the past, though.

Wha-??????????
Anyway, when I first heard about the fact that they intend on making a new Star Wars trilogy I did the double facepalm...but I've chosen to be optimistic, and with Michael Arndt writing the screenplay for the first film and those other two guys it can't be all that bad.
