Turian havoc: shields pack capacity shields
Turian Ghost : damage pack capacity damage
I was wondering if you guys think the extra 3 secs for each pack is better than having an extra stim pack. Cumulatively those 3 secs add up and 9 sec is alot of time for you to melt stuff with the damage bonus. But each stim pack feels like a survival ops to me and cant help but take pack capacity.
Also you think a fully damage spec on the turian ghost really adds up for massive damage or hradly noticeable? I mainly use stim packs as survival ops and never actually waste one for a damage boost right before i approach a group of enemies.
(The weapons i use on the ghost being black widow javelin PPR raider typhoon)
stim packs and how you spec them

It's all personal preference. If you want to go tanky, go for shields. And if you're an objective player, you might want to go for duration instead of the extra pack. Can't tell you how many times it saves me in the devices objective lol

I don't use them, on the Havoc or the Ghost... So there is your answer?

if you use them as ghetto ops packs then more shields would be better.
imo? i still have my ghost at 6/6/6/6/0 and pack when needed. would change but just too lazy to respec.

I have mine specced for shields/duration/melee on my Havoc.
Not sure about the Ghost, though.

On the Ghost I go full damage. Havoc full shields. Take Duration with both.

Do NOT go full ops pack on the ghost. It's almost never worth the points. Instead, go 6/4/6/6/4, with shields and durability for the 4th evo. Spec for weapon damage and chain/neural/antishields for overload. You will be able to take down any threat, even on platinum, using this build and an adequately strong assault rifle (PPR, Harrier, Striker+TC glitch)

so duration is more preferred by you guys? But why? isnt the pack capacity as great as that one weekend challenge where we got an extra survival ops pack?
Also im not looking for chracter specs just the stim packs specs specially duration vs pack capacity.

I take capacity on the Havoc and duration on the Ghost. Beyond that I do what you did.

Havoc: Damage, Capacity, Melee/Shields, duration isn't needed, by the time the stimpacks bonus ends I will need to pop another anyway.
Ghost: Shields, Duration, Melee/Shields, since I'm not constantly on the front line like the Havoc I can afford to run around for packs, and the duration helps when I go to revive or enable/disable.
I'm not going to say you're wrong, I'm just curious as to why. Trying to play modestly?

I go max shields, duration, survival. Stimulant packs are perhaps one of the best skills in the game for survive-ability. There is a reason why TGI is considered so overpowered, and stim packs are a big part of it.
Obviously you could go the damage route, but I tend to use them in those "Oh S%#T!!!" moments. Just like Ops Packs though, they will not work while stunlocked or staggered.

I only use them Full Shields/Capacity, and then i use them pre-combat. I know there COULD be an enemy around the corner? Press Stim packs. I just can not go down with this.

Damage, duration, damage. Grenade Capacity 5.. Why go shields if you can just pop another one...?

Unlike Ops Packs, you can pick up stimpacks at ammo boxes in game same as grenades, and some gear will add stimpacks as well. Anything that gives you extra grenades, like the grenade Capacity gear, will also give you extra Stimpacks. You can easily carry enough stimpacks with gear and ammo boxes that you never really run out even taking the duration over the extra stimpack. That extra 3 seconds, however, can really make a difference in getting out of a tight spot, when going to revive teamates, or when you're doing certain objectives. That's just my thinking on it.

I bet there are people who don't know that grenade boosting gear also gives you stimpacks.

Extra Capacity gives you two more packs. If you're using Warfighter V gear, that's +50% as many uses; if you're using Grenade Gear V, it's less than 30% more uses. Duration makes each use last 50% longer. Getting more mileage out of each use is good, since it means you have to fight your team less over ammo spawns on high difficulties.
If you don't have high-level grenade capacity boosting gear, go ahead and take +capacity. If you have maxed out gear, stick with duration. If you know your teammates won't be competing with you for grenade supply, capacity is less important.
