Grabs are easier than people think. Spec a Batarian Soldier for full toughness/damage reduction with Blade Armor and play hopscotch around the two desks in the control room on FB Giant against Cerberus on Gold.

I almost accidentally soloed Gold doing this thanks to the (seeming) invincibility frames from the OCG animation and counter-hop animation. The beauty is you keep Cerberus troops constantly jumping over counters too, which keeps them from shooting at you. And when they do get an opportunity to attack, more often than not they're too close and opt to melee instead - getting reciprocally stunned by blade armor and buying you more time.

First, I finished grabs about two-and-a-half months ago. Easy. Also, Haters hate and trolls troll. I say 'thank you' to those offering advice. To those of you slinging insults, ****** off.

So I know it's probably really late to notice this, but I just thought I'd say something: *coyly places pinky finger at the corner of his mouth* One MILLION melee kill points. Seriously, Bioware? I mean, I've seen some stupid stuff, but a million melee kill points? At only three to four hundred per kill? I'm sorry, but I don't have a week to reserve to having no life at all. Screw the banner. I've written this off as 'I have better things to do and better games to play'.

Easy to do , take a look at my solo's

I actually tried this with reapers. Nice.

It isn't as hard as it sounds. This actually takes less time and effort than several other accomplishment requirements. The trick is to know what layout of character and setup to use for each situation. If it seems like too much, then you probably have not run into the circumstances that thrive on melee...which in turn means you need to diversify your way of thinking.

Human Melee adept murders most units with an acolyte, also any Geth, any Krogan, any Batarian, any Vorcha, Phoenix vanguard, Paladin, Shadow, Slayer, Huntress, Quarian Female infiltrator, Destroyer and Turian ghost/havoc all have melee builds that work well on Silver+. Its a pain but there are a variety of ways to achieve it.

As for grabs I took someones advise on FBW/G/G and farmed them with a Kroguard, I got about 60+ grabs by wave 7. I did it twice to finish the last hundred grabs I needed. It was boring and it sucked but it was the fastest way I ever seen.

The melee points are hardly outrageous. What is harder for me is getting those grabs. My playstyle involves killing stuff while running around the battlefield while occasionally taking cover. Its kind of awkward to wait behind cover to get grabs or to go to cover immediately when there is an enemy on other side to grab them.

Melee builds are the only thing that gets me coming back to this game. Since teamwork got "nerfed" with more and more powerful weapons meleeing was and is the only thing that still gets me smiling with a wide grin.

I hate to sound "game old", but I had to do it when it was 250 grabs. The trick here is to not wait behind cover for someone to come to you. If you have a location where the enemy can take cover very close to you, and you can also take cover, they'll run right up to the close one but not the one you are hiding behind. You then jump over and to the opposite cover before they can move, grab, go to the back side of that one, rinse and repeat. You end up going back and forth between two covers which are close to each other. Once you finish doing that enough times it becomes irresistible to automatically jump over cover and grab things that take cover close to you.

Melee GI on glacier geth gold. If you have a cooperative team, control spawns and just run down the back ramp and nuke the spawn. All spawns, except 2 geth primes, will die within 3 pulses, which equates to 2 seconds if done right.
