It's a good weapon, but it relies on Amps and Ammo to make it shine.
It needs a buff.

Topping the scoreboard in a PUG means nothing. 

If you're honestly trying to say that the Typhoon is not much better than the Avenger then nobody is going to take you seriously. 

As it stands, the Typhoon is the 3rd best AR. The problem is that it should be equal 1st due to its rarity and how much it weighs. 

Does it need a buff? Yes. 

Is it already a great weapon? Also yes. 

If you think otherwise you're wrong and you're bad at the game.

Whoa there buddy.... I'm guessing you're going to place either the harrier or the PPR as 1 and 2 but I think you're misplacing the saber somewhere there. The saber is a good weapon but it doesn't get the respect it deserves since it involves aim and isn't noob friendly at all. Some may consider it a sniper without a scope but I consider it to be much better than the typhoon. I have a typhoon at 2 and a saber at 1. I would take the saber everytime.

That's awesome. You truly did prove that the avenger is a force to be reckoned with.

 Katana > Reegar. Because you need to be at close range to unleash the DPS of the Reegar, whereas the inaccuracy of the katana kills packs of mooks at long range.

Inaccuracy is a huge advantage people.

Inaccuracy is a huge advantage people.

And, the slow fire rate of the katana means you have time to aim for headshots, wheras the huge recoil the reegar has makes it really difficult to aim for the head with.

I like to use a shotgun spare thermal extended scope, and the shotgun high calibre velocity recoil SMG dampener mod on my katana, as they combine to make it do more damage than the reegar.

I'm not agree, Saber is excelent gun, but it is just........... different and uncomprehended.

As good as the Typhoon?, well, we can't really compare them because they are different, the only 2 things in common is that they are UR and are "AR".

Saber in good hands can be as good as Typhoon.

And of course I talk from my own experience.

I did the bloody Avenger challenge on Gold; I don't need to watch the whole thing to know that even on a Destroyer with top tier amps it's crap against elite mooks and bosses.

That time tells me that you were not "just fine".

Well, tbh you're kinda expected to use amps/ammo on Plat, even if it's lvl I or II consummables. 

I wouldn't use the Harrier without at least some ammo power on Plat, because it's boss spam and I prefer clearing stuff fast.
