You're right they're not. The first one was of 4 Destroyers beating Gold with 4 Typhoons. The 2nd is of 4 GI Joe's beating Platinum with 4 Avengers lol

Someone who is good enough to make the Saber extremely good, is good enough to make the Typhoon even better. This isn't even a close contest or matter of personal preference. The Typhoon is objectively far better in just about every way. The Saber doesn't even come close, sorry.

i'm not talking about preferences, i'm talking about my personal experience.

I kill mooks much faster using marksman with Saber than with Typhoon.

But as I said, both are good, but it's much easier to take all the advantages of Typhoon because Saber is tricky, very good aiming is required to show the true potential, said this, I almos must say that saber is a waste on the hands of the very big majority of players in this game.

Again i'm not saying that Saber is better or viceversa, i'm just talking about my personal experience.

That's the problem with arguing on teh interwebz. At the end of the day, you don't even remember why you're arguing.

Anyhow, what do you think of the PPR? It's godly right? But you wouldn't use it on adept because of the ramp up mechanic, true?

Well, people won't use the Typhoon on power classes because it has a ramp up like the PPR, but it's also heavy.

Which makes it a weapons classes' gun. There's no reason to use ramp up guns on a majority of power spamming classes. It's only logical. And it's decent enough without consummables.

Point is, it's not at the level it should be. It should out DPS a PPR. But it doesn't suck either.

not what i was referencing, phantom/atlas/banshee shields can be taken down just as fast with other guns. 
Devastator mode has damage/fire rate/accuracy/mag bonuses, Devastator has good shields so it can take more abuse than most kits, he doesn't require a CD bonus, since he doesn't use powers. 
The weight of the Typhoon makes it a bad choice for power based kits, the fact that you have to be out of cover for a few seconds in order for it to do proper damage makes a bad choice for squishy/softer kits. 
If you're going to test a gun properly, use it on different kits, not just weapon kits. test it without amps as well as different types of ammo, use it against different enemy factions, then use the Typhoon's competition (Harrier, PPR) and do the same for them.

My Typhoon is at 9
Magazine Upgrade and High Velocity Barrel (Typh)
215 rounds in the gun, 488 spare ammunition. (Typh)
Drill Rounds 1/AP Rounds 1= Nothing Lives
Any ammunition higher than 1 is simply overkill.
This is on my Destroyer.
I love that gun, it literally shreds whatever you are shooting at.

I've never seen anyone use the PPR outside of a weapons class unless they were cheesing with Warp and Incendiary ammo, or just plain stupid.

And please stop making comparisons to the Harrier, it is an anomaly.
