If you need a assualt rifle the Typhoon is a good choice but not the best. The Typhoon is a perfect fit for the Dev. mode since it increases accuracy, fire rate, and it gets a damage bonus all without a downside to Dev mode.

Different weapons run better on different characters. Anything that increases fire rate and accuracy is going to make the Typhoon godly. The harrier is the best all around AR but it's not great on a Destroyer or anything with MM unless you park on top of the ammo box.

I spent two respec cards on my destroyer and tested feneckus's build and consumables with the typhoon on platinum last night. It was good, but not as good as the ppr setup,IMO. I have both at X.

Ppr I take dm 4a, 5a, 6b ( shield recharge, ammo capacity, damage )
Typhoon dm all bottom row ( accuracy, rate of fire, damage )

About the only advantage I saw was that you could finish off a boss if you ran out of ammo by hitting ammo pack, which you can't do with ppr.

Maybe if my teammates had been bad the results would have been better because a gi or turian soldier with piranha often finished off the bosses faster.

Anyway, I'm going back to the ppr on platinum.

We did not provide you a very good testing environment last night.

@ukstory135 - yeah, you guys were great so I probably could have been using a peashooter, lol. I guess I'll try it on gold with some randoms.

The Typhoon's main advantage over the PPR is that it can keep firing for a really long time. If you stick with your team and have great teammates, you won't need to do that so the Typhoon main's strength will go to waste.
