Because that's not how the engine works.
So basically if you put your FPS very low on PC you will be immortal but will still be able to kill the enemies as fast as if you played with 60 FPS?

not for normal guns. I thought I read somewhere that peddro&crew suspect the framerate hampers the Reegar dps, but that's about 133 hits per second, only 10 for the Brophoon.Lord_Sirian wrote...

The guns don't do any more damage on PC than they do on ecks bawks.
Can't it be that the FPS is higher on PC which means a lot more bullets will actually do damage to the target? From what I understand enemies can kill you easier when you have high FPS since their "accuracy" increases from it, and from what I understand the same is true when a player is shooting at an enemy?
This has been a statement for a long time here on this forum, that enemies are tougher on PC because of 60 FPS while on console we are stuck with something like 30 FPS (I think).
So by this logic, could it be true that weapons such as the Typhoon or the Harrier would deal more damage on PC than on console?
That's a negative. Framerate/processing power determines enemy AI functions and accuracy. Not hit detection on enemies.

Yes except playing @ very low FPS sucks and hampers your ability to switch targets well.

This sooooo much.
But @dumdum2: Somebody made a vid about that some time ago, he basically capped his FPS at 15 and ran circles around a Cerb Gold wave with a Drell, almost did not get hit.

For some reason, one guy made a thread calling it a boss killer and everyone made fun of him, which really shows how little most BSNers know about the game.

Typhoon is total garbage on 360. It's bugged on a platform apparently ....
thats why i am requesting a solo video with a single atlas , i will duplicate on console and try to compare if that is the truth
Video
It will be done uploading in an hour, but unedited footage. Only difference is I did not take 20% extra headshot damage; if it does make a huge difference I will change it since I have respec cards free to use.

Why would this weapon be an exception to the rule?

If I had my Typhoon at X, or close, I would be using it a lot more. Especially on my Human and Turian Soldier. Marksman and AR's auto-reload would mean not having to stop firing, keeping the insane RoF bonuses. Oh the carnage....

but you can still get staggered out of firing...

Gun is still underwhelming...I used it the other day on Platinum and Gold..... I cried. They were like baby tears....I swear a Prime stopped shooting.....he even stopped casting turrets and just walked over to me and said..."really"? I just took my sorry behind home after that and placed the Typhoon back the storage locker where it gains dust respectively.
Here's a video by the way of the enemies that truly do hate the Typhoon's OP'ness.
