Anyway, the incendiary thing is not really relevant. What is relevant is that Feneckus didn't use AP ammo, and therefore the PPR didn't have a chance to exploit the canopy bug, while the Typhoon did. That's enough of a difference for me to call that test uneven.

The part you quoted is from the warp + incendiary thread though, maybe it's different if you only use incendiary?

No, because there is a reason consoles will only give you 30fps. It's called processing power. Which might have something to do with how accurate the AI can be. Just a wild guess.


its capped to 30 this way the processor can keep the framerate smooth w/o having to sacrifice any processing that goes into enemy actions. and its level to eveyrone that plays it. On a PC a higher end one will  run 60FPS and still be able to have the processing power to make the enemies as aggressive as they are suppsoed to be. on a high end PC with nothing running the AI will be = to an xbox it'll just run at a better framerate. on a low end PC the processor can't compute fast enough to make the enemies as much of a threat as a high end PC or xbox. but with a PC you can tweak it to make the enemies easier. but you can't make them ahrder then whats already programmed in the game.

TL:DR PC can be = or easier then xbox depending on the specs and what the user does to change the game.

You can watch xbox vids compared to PC vids and clearly see that xbox vids enemies are more aggressive. Even on the one i called LS out on he said it was ebcuase the hsot had a crap PC and that why, then he sent me a link to one where the host had a good PC stating in that one they are more aggresive then xbox. While the enemis were more aggresive then they were on the other PC vid they weren't more aggresive then on xbox. Why you gusy pretend this is not true is beyond me. do i have to pull up the PM from LS where he admitted that enemies are easier if the host has a crap computer? cause i have it from the arelex forums, or can he just admit he said that

Only true if the HOST deliberately hogs up all his processing power (very hard to do, and very noticeable when playing or in a video). If a client throttles his processing power so he's running @ 20 FPS the only thing he'll hurt is his own performance

And Feneckus is always a client and never a host. So cut the thinly veiled accusations out, they're boring.

and hard to do is a relative term. i can build a computer easily, some people can't do it and might find it hard. I'm sure that the average PC gamer is smart enough to know how to do somethign like that. and it is obvious, hence the reason i said it in the 1st place which you admitted i was right. so what your issue?

Your numbers certainly seem to support your conclusion.  I'm not biased either way but when I read Peddro's summary, Zjarcal too it seems, get the impression that Incendiary does little damage while it's stacking and the majority after the player stops shooting.

PC enemies are less aggressive than Xbox ones because headshots stun enemies, and actually hitting them causes them to go into defensive routines (ala phantoms hiding/cartwheeling). Ask any of the many players who have switched from Xbox to PC which one has more accurate enemies.

Yeah, I think what he was trying to say is that the Incendiary ammo damage, as a portion of your total damage, isn't that impressive while you are still shooting, only after you stop.  But now I'm putting words into his mouth...so I'll stop.  I'll send him a message asking for clarification next time I see him online

When we do speedruns, Stentron almost always hosts and he gets 60 FPS even when recording. Stop being so belligerent. Your constant thinly veiled accusations of cheating (insinuating that Feneckus mods his game files) or abusing mechanics like the AI being less accurate at lower framerates are extremely insulting.

None of the PC players try to disparage Team Arelex's achievements in the way you constantly do to us. Cut it out.

lol 1st off thats all the PC players did. for months. even issuesing teh challenge and then being sore losers about it afterards. thats when they came up with the whole its harder on PC myth. 2ndly i've never taken away form any of your guys achievments or runs, i was stating that in some videos i seen (and none of them were speed runs) taht the enemies are way less aggressive, its a fair observation taht you confirmed for the video i said it about. I never said you used it to cheat runs or cheat credits. just taht it can be done (which you confirmed) and it would be stupid to think people don't do it. Does that mean you or feneckuis delibertly do it? No it means its possible. liek when you say peopel on xbox cheat and missile glitch. fact is they do, i'm not gonna get buthurt over it. Doens't mean i do it, cause i don't but others do and its a possiblity. 3rd off the whole discussion was about the typhoon mowing down platinum bosses. My point was i don't care to sue it to expliot a triple hit atlas glitch and the fact it does that against 1 enemy doens't mean it mows them down. it won't do that to a pratorian/banshee/prime cause they don't have that glitch. doing 3 times as much damage as it should to 1 enemey due to a glitch doens't give an accurate assessemnt of what the weapon does as a whole.

and also aren't you part of team arelex, as am I, so why would i talk down towards someone who is in the same group as me? why don't you grow up a little

Firstly, the glitch exists on xbox too. 

Secondly, Feneckus just posted a video showing it will one clip a Praetorian and a Banshee (it can also one clip a Prime). Saying that it's only good against Atlases because of the triple hit is laughable.

I'm gonna dig up and see if i can find my platinum speed run vid where i used the typhoon on a TGI cause the damage output wasn't even close. again apparently someone said it could be lag related (which is possible) but if it is another "lag related issue gun" it becomes useless like the graal and kichock, and GPS off host. too many misses when they should be. Cause my lag has been terrible since the last patch

No but the Typhoon's ramp-up time is small anyway. And faster RoF = more DPS.

I know that.  I was just wondering if the ROF increase from Devastator Mode would cut the time for the multiplier to proc.  Basically hoping I wouldn't penalize myself should I use the PPR....like the TSol and Markmans.
