Post my name calling and insults for me to see. You are a liar, plain and simple.  Go ahead and put your fingers in your ears like any mature person engaging in a debate.

You made your rash, childish, trollish behavior well known in my Pro-thean thread when you blatantly insult a fellow user of the BSN forums. You are clearly hostile, and wish to intice others to engage in personal insults with you. Then you turn it around and start accusing others(me in this case) to illicit further negative responses.

It matters in regards to N7 operations being classified.

As for the second part, there's a difference between omnipotence and the Shadow Broker/Prothean expert and leader of the Alliance/Crucible project director not knowing about or mentioning the Protheans that happen to be running around the galaxy, and helping in alliance operations, to Shepard or the other Prothean.

She did not know about Javik in Eden Prime. It was Cerberus that found them. The Shadow Broker does not know everything. It is not unreasonable to believe that there is a bunker/clone project./whatever that the Shadow Broker-now Liara would not know about. They are not omnipotent. It's a big galaxy, and BioWare can make it work.

Javik was remote and unknown.

Protheans running around with other races and actively engaging in alliance missions is entirely different.

To suggest that the Shadow Broker/Prothean expert and leader of the Alliance wouldn't know or mention this to Shepard or Javik is absurd.

Dude, MRC is right, you were already instigating those responses. Your fault.

Failed race? They are clearly more advanced than the current galactic powers.

What is with everyone's obbession with them coming back full force? 4-8 people! N7 ops! We are not sending them to war on the frontlines. Covert operations. Superb Biotic skills and sensory abilities. Behhind-the-scenes. We are not resurrecting their entire race!

He is a liar, he says I engage in arguments to illicit negative responses towards myself, yet there is no such behavior to be seen in this actual thread. Whether my opinion of another BSN users behavior is positive or not is irrelevant, as it is an opinion.

Your talking about them already being discovered, and their presence justified then? This can easily be remedied the way most other outside events of the SP are handled. Liara recieves new intel on her terminal. Maybe BioWare even adds dialogue. They aren't finished with single-player dlc  yet.

It has already been established that decisions relating to the lore and any retconns necessary to create viable MP Protheans will always lie with Bioware. The recent poll already has shown that a substantial part of this community is opposed to the idea, as is those that a for the idea.

So what are these threads accomplishing? You guys can't be patient and wait to see if it ever happens?

You were insulting him, PERSONALLY insulting him with a very narcisstic undertone.

Before this thread is lost to the chronicles of time, and lost forever, I want to state that Father Superior is a dick. His screename alone would be adequate proof. When this thread is found thousands of years in the future by an intelligent sentient species researching the long-extinct human race, they will know that the one known as ManRightChea has come to the conclusion that the one known as Father Superior is a dick.

That is all.

EDIT: This has gone on long enough, I am not involving myself with you any further.  I have already reported this post of yours. The mods can take it from here. I'm not stooping any lower. Good day.

It'd be much easier if Bioware came outright with the facts.

Is it really just the green biotics and accent? I mean, from what I understand of lore it sounds like the protheans were actually quite a barbaric race of bigoted jerks.

Also, how does one portray a "very narcisstic tone" on an internet forum? How does one convey tone through statements?

I think we need to realize the reason the Protheans even exist even exist in regards to Shepards story. They're a message. A sign. A symbol. They stand for failure. They stand for hope. They both failed and succeeded. They're last remnant was Vigil and their legacy was their elimination of the reaper signal. I saw the protheans as what I wanted to avoid becoming, but also as the saviors. They were the perfect Former Civilization.

And Javik ruined that. He was a cool idea and all, but kinda pointless. I didn't need an entire dlc so I could find out that the protheans were a bunch of imperialistic douchebags. I appreciated the new squadmate because the line up is pretty dull in my opinion, but he didn't need to be a prothean.

My view of what the protheans were has already been distorted, but it was replaced by an interesting character that is built around his uniqueness and individuality, the fact that he is the last prothean, and he's fighting with Shepard in order to stop the reapers and avenge his people.

And now people are asking Bioware to ruin everything he stood for just because they want there biotics to be ****ing green? That's too far. The protheans started as a symbol of failure, and then there was Javik. Javik then became the ultimate symbol of unity, showing that even different cycles needed work together, and that Shepard could get them to.

Nothing could justify more protheans because it would ruin two different established tropes in this series. Not just lore, but establishments in the narrative, and that's just something I would never want to happen.

I don't think lore should have an effect on MP. They should be kept separate IMO

I just noticied your sig... I absolutely love your Collector thralls idea. I would honestly be content with them as an alternative to Protheans.

Protheans running around after being established in SP is a different argument.

Personally I don't give a single **** about lore in MP anymore. It may broke the ME universe because Protheans were supposedly wiped out by the Reapers as we all know. But In the other hand, we have Javik. If one Prothean survived possibly others survived too.

It's up to Biower. In my experience: if it's fun, go ahead. I hope they don't care that much about lore in the future ME [Insert title or number here], so we can have a more interesting and funny game without storyline limitations.

Mass Effect is nothing without story. Too many video games nowadays completely ignore the fact that video games are quite possibly the best story telling medium of the modern day. I get that they are primarily meant for fun, but I still believe that The Walking Dead is one the very best games ever made, and all you did was click at things and make decisions.

To elaborate, being revealed in SP, with dialogue and story changes to reflect it, is contrived and stupid, but it means their inclusion in MP wouldn't be story or lore breaking. Without single player DLC though it would be.

That's (partly) while I like the idea so much. I thought it would satisfy both sides of the Prothean argument, but strangely most Pro-Protheans hate the idea.

As long as they have some comments including airlocks. Seriously though, yeah I'd play if the classes are fun. I think the lore is not that important in mp, it doesn't stack up anyway.
