If Reapers 'huskify' organics and use them as ground troops, would they do the same for organic's vehicles/ships? I don't know how many reapers there are, but wouldn't it sort of make sense and be reaper-like to take organic's ships, possibly modify them, possibly give them a husk-crew and use it in space (or land, air, sea)?
I just think that reapers are WAY more powerful, but probably have fewer numbers. And even if they DON't do this, what do they do with any leftover ships that aren't destroyed in combat, but are on a reaper world? As in literally, a ship for the taking- they wouldn't just destroy that, would they? How far would they go to capture ships?
What do you guys think?

Ships obviously can't be converted over, they're just VIs and Machines. You would need crews as you said, but indoctrination and huskification removes intelligence. You could argue the reapers would make intelligent husks, but why bother? Their ground forces are powerful and in terms of ships? The Reapers themselves, are more than capable.

Just seems like a lot of effort for little gain.

Idunno, they could probably just easily hack the systems... I thought they even said something about reapers hacking mechs. They might have even developed something over time to capture ships.
And yes, the reapers themselves are more then capable, but, depending on their numbers, they might be spread thinly across the galaxy...

While true, Reapers are shown to actually be methodical and concerate mostly on one thing at a time. Of course they obviously have units to spare on other fronts (Palaven, Thessia), but mostly focus on one big target at a time (Earth).

This is of course also due to the unique circumstances of this Cycle. Shepard as a Human has done things no other race has, it's clear that the Reapers would focus on Earth even more than they would have normally in a cycle process due to this. The game even states this by Anderson telling you about how they go from area to area, fighting guerilla style and staying out of big cities, as Reapers always start with big areas and focus on those. Which makes sense, there is lots of humans, therefor lots of DNA to collect.

So basically, Reapers are methodical and like focusing themselves on one target at a time. I doubt they feel as if they are spread too thinly. They're masters at this afterall :wizard:
