Yes. Of the two DA games I only play DA:O. DA2 is an insult to RPG players and so I don't play it.

I've replayed both Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2 several times, but I actually haven't played either in a while. There are so many games that I've wanted to play in the past few years, so I've had to stop replaying the DA games in order to make time for others. I'm currently playing Ni No Kuni and it is awesome so far.

Think i am going to start a new playthrough tonight. Pretty sure i am going to play Dwarven commoner since it's the only origin i have not played yet. Just have to figure out what kind of character traits he/she should have. I'm thinking an Andrastian dwarf commoner that wants nothing else but to leave Orzammar and explore Ferelden and Thedas.

I just love the roleplaying freedom you have in DA:O.

Lord no. I've alreaady got my perfect playthrough and some sections of it are so dull and unnecessarily long. They were dull on the first playthrough and they get worse each time, even though practice means I can minimize the time I spend in those areas.

I still play it from time to time, like a new playthrough every couple of months. In the middle of awakening with my mage right now.

I find it still very much playable. Much more so than DA2. The graphics look fine still, I like the art style a lot more than DA2's. And the high res texture pack mod I installed made it way better still.

I wouldn't go THAT far but I do concur it's dumbed down almost to the point of being insulting. I did enjoy DA2 though even though DAO is superior in every possible way.

Right now I'm playing Awakening. But I haven't played the main game since just before the release of DA2 but I plan on playing it many more times in the future. It's the best western RPG in history (Yes, even bether then Baldur's Gate).
But I like DA2 also. I understand why fans where disapointed and I was it also but it's not that bad. Bad for an Dragon Age game, yes, but still bether then many other RPGs out there. But I don't get why they desided to make a sequel that was worse then the original, that just doesn't make sense and it almost are like they did plan for the game to be less.
The things I dissliked most was the boring and strange Darkspawn design that was so different then in DA:O and the repeating use of that one dungeon. Sure, DA:O reused lots of maps also but not so "in your face" like DA2.

Still, I'm hoping for a good game with DA3 and that the game takes the best of DA:O and DA2 because DA2 also had a lot of improvments.

AND, I hope... I BEG, that they finnish the DA3 story before they make DA4. DA:O's last expantion was cancled because they wanted to release DA2 as fast as they could, there by not giving us a good ending to the Warden.
And DA2's expantion and future DLC was cancled because it was a failure and they desided to work on DA3 instead, there by not giving us and ending AT ALL to Hawke.

So please, this time, finnish the game and it's DLC storylines BEFORE you go full bsteam on the next game.

OK, got a litle OT there but, I love DA and will replay the games many times. DA2 less because you only have 3 different Hawkes to chose from, but I'll replay it also.

Dragon Age Origins is too much of a slog, but I'm currently on another play through of Dragon Age 2. I need to force myself to play DAO again to make a perfect story for Inquisition though.

No, and I probably won't play it again until after doing DA:I as I've already made my ideal playthroughs. I'll probably go back to DA2 before the next game is out, however.

Not really. I finished a DA:O playthrough a few months ago (my second) to import that character's story into DA2, but other than that, the game is too much of a slog to replay in its entirety. I do replay sections from time to time, particularly the Landsmeet stuff.

I just started a new playthrough earlier this week after not playing since DA2 came out, Trying to get a male Cousland to become King something I had never done before.

As for the graphics... after playing The Old Republic for months playing DA:O feels like an upgrade, I recommend anyone who wants to play it again (on PC) to raid the Dragon Age Nexus site for mods, there is a lot of really good stuff to make the game even better than it was.

In DA2 though I could only ever finish one playthrough, all my other attempts floundered on the annoying combat by the time you get to the deep roads expedition, I think the only reason I would consider replaying it again is for Nicholas Boulton's voicework

I'd have to make a new profile on the Xbox for it. Unfortunately, the character limit is really low for DAO, especially because DLCs require their own character slots. DA2 at least rectifies that, meaning I don't have to create more profiles so I can replay.

Tbh, without mods to change-up the armours/robes and CC a little, it feels a bit too same-y by this point. And I really don't like playing through the Fade section.

I haven't touched DA:O in a while, just finishing my ninth character for DA2 though (all of them starting from DA:O).

Once the release of DA:I gets closer, I'll probably do a tenth character from DA:O all the way to the end of DA2.
