Definitely play it every once in a while. though most of my gaming time is taken up with Skyrim these days. DA:O is still a great game, even if it occasionally crashes on me when there's lots of particle effects. Love it!
If you haven't already, be sure to mod the .exe to be >2 GB aware. Solves many crashes that way.

As for myself, I lost the ability to play it when I had a Zevran romance shoved down my throat. Normally acceptable in a Bioware game (though not appreciated) I would have merely ignored it and kept playing, however I had a larger problem with it this time due to the fact I had already triggered Alistair's romance and played it pretty much to the end of the game before Alistair got all "OMIGOSH U DOINK WIV ZEVRAN?!".
Pretty sure you can use the "We need to talk" dialogue option to end a relationship with someone you don't want. Never had to use it so unsure. My guess is that's why, in DA2, they use the <3 icon to denote flirting so it doesn't come to that.

The dwarf noble origin story is the best one IMO.Shadowfang12 wrote...
Ok, dwarf it is. Which one?
Y'know in most of my playthroughs (except my first) I went with Harrowmont but I heard that if you do one of the Dwarf Origins (forget which one) the player likely feels differently about who should get the throne. Can you touch on that if you know?

About Harrowmont: if you play as a dwarf commoner, your sister gives birth to Bhelen's child. Since it's a son, she is accepted into the noble family, and supporting Harrowmont is like betraying her

DN gives you compelling reasons to choose Harromont and the DC gives you compelling reasons to choose Behlen of course you can still choose the other guy and there are reasons you can do it but both Dwarf origins definitely lean one way or the other.

The new content mods keep it fresh on the PC
The mod fixes on the PC keep it from being broken.
I dont play it too much on the consoles though.

Haven't found the motivation to do an entire new playthrough of Origins yet. Last played it about two years ago.
