Tried it out, and I'm actually surprised with it. Might use it more often over my SMG's for a while.

NOT because I like the Eagle, I dont, its a terrible weapon imo, but because I was tired of being disappointed by the commendation packs, and at this point, I just want the pain over with. The Eagle is not a terrible weapon at all.

In comparison to other good weapons, it is awful. Even just among the other pistols, it hardly stands out as a go-to weapon.

Considering the time to unlock and reach X, the Eagle is more akin to Eagle-poop then it is to the majestic bird of prey that it is named after.

I'm guessing this means we won't see any kind of change to the aiming mechanic, then? I do well with it, but lag makes it a lot of effort for little reward.

I haven't done it yet, but whatever I get, it won't be a Hurricane or a Crusader. Maybe I'll finally get my hands on an Eagle.

Wanted Hurricane VII, got a Valiant VI. Could be worse, I guess.

 So trolled today really wanted the Valiant X.  The PUGs have been fairly decent so far and while I've gotten 75 kills not got the Gold AR medal.  So decided I'd try properly for my first solo Silver.
Which I managed against Cerberus (fecken Goons) and was promptly rewarded with a Crusader VI and it stole my credits for the mission as well just to rub it in.

So I'm happy, and a little sad, and annoyed all at the same time.  (I tried restarting but didn't work creds gone forever)

Eagle IV

Hadn't played in awhile, so decided to warm up in bronze. Hosted the 2nd mission, started on my own, TGI, with Harrier+AP+capacity. People came in during later waves, but by wave 10 I had my AR gold medal.  I did all the objectives with the team, including baby sit and sitting ducks/hack.   Amazing!!
