never played the pnp game i have the lore stuff for it and like to read about the diff chars/enemies and the like but the snes game did rock

Certainly not models of modern guns, but otherwise, why not?
I don't say it wouldn't fit into the lore... because worlds and settings change, the technology evolves.
It would look awkward if there were heavy, stylish guns in the game, modeled like they would come of the future of another galaxy, but what about more primitive models? Models that perfectly fit into the lore and timeline of the game, and are just a very interesting invention of some genius... or madman?
I'm just thinking into the direction of "Assassins Creed 2", for example, and its interesting design of the "Hidden gun"....

Bows > Guns, at least the guns they would introduce, as has been stated several times. If you want guns, play Fable 2, CoD, MW, CS, WoW... Don't bring that crap to DA.

Who says I WANT guns? I just said I could imagine them getting a part of the gameworld if included properly.
Yargh, you just speculate about something and people are already getting aggressive... :/
