Yeah my two major clues were

"Ordinary I may seem", as he is a kit available from the start.
"Fight or flight?", the saying for when adrenaline surges through you (AR, obviously)

Thought it would take longer, damn you! Gotta think of another now....

Didnt even think of the relation between fit or flight and adrenaline. That was kinda smart to put there, though

Huh, and I could have sworn that fight or flight was referenced the Havoc strike/jetpack and the crumble was referencing Cryo Blast.

Interesting. That's a good interpretation as well. Although the "ordinary I may seem" doesn't really fit with the Turian Armiger Legion, but that's open to debate.

like a mage from long ago
my powers work better
if there's rain or snow
my race may be
both noble and cruel
but perhaps we fight the hardest
to oppose the Reapers' rule

Who am I? (This is my first riddle EVER, so it may be too easy or too hard, depending on the success of my wording... I'll apologize in advance  )

Edit: And you can clearly see it took me 22 minutes to compose it
