also this is my non-minmax purely aesthetically awesome combination

love it (sadly the no-flashlight eyes only works on this screen)

I always liked that helmet. It make Shep look like he transformed into some kind of super-hero. It REALLY screws up his face in one of the Leviathan conversations though.

It does that freaking eye glitch all the time tho

Is there a way around that

you can have helmets turn off during conversations if that helps, or does it do it even during gameplay?

slightly off topic, but does anyone else find these absolutely ridiculous and refuse to wear them no matter the benefits?

That last one, I actually like. I use the one in the middle very sparingly, the one on the far left even less... and none of the others. I refuse to wear anything that gives Shepard a superficial resemblance to Kai Lame.

it's sad, I like that helmet but I hate the fact I would have to keep it on the whole time

(ME3)
Head - Recon Hood - I kinda wish the helmet didn't just disappear for some conversations. Irks me a bit.
Chest - Serrice Council/ sometimes the N7
Shoulders - Hahne-Kedar/N7/Serrice Council/Rosenkov Materials. I Wanted asymmetric ones really.
Arms - N7/Armax
Legs - N7/ sometimes Hahne Kedar

I don't consider them rediculous, I just prefer to see my Shepard's eyes and I can't when he's wearing those.

For my RP-focused playthroughs I use the standard N7 stuff with blue and white coloring (since my Shepard's part Greek like I am!). I'll upload a screenshot when I'm lazy, since I know you'll be waiting.

why have one helmet when you can have two?
2 helmets + 90% less shoulder pads = stylish shep

Tell you what I've found. You put them on for a litle while and they start growing on you. Suddenly Shep looks all wrong if he ISN'T wearing it.

Ben (paragon soldier): solid white; pieces that boost health

Jeff (paragade vanguard): solid black; pieces that boost shields

Jill (paragon infiltrator): light blue; pieces that boost weapon/headshot damage

The typical N7 stripe is red, of course.  No helmets on either of them, except Jill who uses the Kuwashii Visor.  I used to have a xenophobic renegade who wore the Cerberus armor or the death mask.

I personally use the full Hanhe-Kedar set, and the Sentry interface as infiltrator with an Assault Rifle, works really good :P

ME1: Light Onyx X
ME2: Default, asymmetric shoulder pads, extra ammo packs on arm & leg armor, Kuwashi visor
ME3: Complete Armax Arsenal, Kuwashi visor

I have to say I love the design of the Armax Arsenal set. The geometry of the chest armor is amazing, and it's the only set with textures so stylishly battered & rugged.
I always keep the red-arm-paiting/black-armor color scheme, it's just iconic N7 to me.

I'm extremely surprised that anybody used the Onyx (N7) armor in ME1. It was statistically the worst armor in the game, along with armors like Hydra and Phoenix. As soon as I got Colossus armor, that was all I needed.

If you like the bonuses go with the following combination:
1x Hahne Kedar
2x Ariake Technologies
1x N7
Sentry Interface

Gives exactly the same bonuses as the Reckoner Knight set, and quite often looks better.
