Gamex in Sweden has a pretty good BioWare track record too, especially considering how remote we are. World premiere of the ME3 multiplayer in 2011, the adventures of Jessica, Chris and Holly in 2012 with all that came with it... =) Here's to hoping we'll get something half as cool for 2013. And if not, I'll still be watching streams from bigger places!

Yes, Sweden. Gamex. I swear, we all play DA over here, it should be a HUGE chunk of bw sales. Posted Image

Also, they're welcome over to my place to pet a raindeer and have a cup of coffee after.

EDIT; How about it, Allan? Sure makes Australia seem a lot less alluring, doesn't it?

Of course BioWare would come to Australia after I move to Edmonton. Figures.

I like how your mind works. But no, unless you plan on teaching me some new tricks it is not.

Wow. Coming to my neck of the woods instead of those smelly Sydneysiders instead.

I'll have to keep this in mind in July.

Melbourne has much better coffee.

______________

I've updated the OP with details of some of the Bioware presentations at GDC, although it's hard to tell which speakers (if any) will mention DA3.

No word yet on PAX, I don't know how long beforehand they usually announce the schedule.

Edit: PAX's Twitter account says the schedule will be up by the end of February.

Updated with exact details about PAX East, Mike Laidlaw will be appearing on two panels talking about gaming topics and one fun quiz-show panel thing.

It's looking practically certain that Bioware are coming to PAX Australia in July (woo!), but it'll be a while before we know who is attending and what sort of panels there'll be.

(I have a ticket for Friday, just quietly, so moving all the cool Bioware panels there would be nice kthx)

Allan Schumacher needs to go to Australia. Oh yeah, and he should show off some DA3 stuff. Why? Because Australia is so far away from America that it is always a day ahead. That means it is the Land of Tomorrow from Futurama which makes it very avant garde. And after entrancing audiences, Allan should get to do some sight-seeing and take pictures "to help the team" later in designing environments. And he will have to sample some of the local cuisine as well to help with descriptions on codex entries. He does this out of selfless dedication. And the fans love him. Please let him go? (Okay, that's the best I have for you at this hour. Ha ha ha!)

Updated the OP with the panel podcasts from PAX East, they'll be uploaded on the website over the next few days or so.

One DA panel recording is already up, it's about an hour long.

Almost certainly, sure, we just don't know a thing about it. When we know who is going, officially, I'll update the thread.

EA is confirmed to be at Gamescom this year. I'm hoping this means BioWare will be there too.

Hm, do you have a link for EA appearing? I can add that to the OP.

Bioware has almost always gone to Gamescom in the past few years, I think it's arguably their biggest and most important European convention in terms of marketing their games.

(Plus, DA has a *really* active European fanbase, I've noticed the Polish and Russian fansites, so I'd imagine they'd be eager to tap into that later this year.)
