My friend recently got dragon age: origins on ps3, whilst i was over at his place i saw him playing it and i quite liked the look of it.
i have been playing alot of titan quest, diablo 3 and dawn of war 2 and was starting to get a little tired of those isometric, mouse-driven rpg's and wanted something a little more actioney like what he was playing.

i then proceeded to get dragon age: origins... for PC... damn

the PC version had precisely the gameplay i was getting tired of.

what i want to know is: are there any mods that allow the game to be played with a controller, that include a controller friendly UI? i basically want to play the type game my friend was playing, but on my PC

There are two that I'm aware of, but I have no idea how good they are or if they'll work with a non-Xbox controller.

You could also use a utility such as Pinnacle Game Profiler or XPadder, which allows you to map-over key and/or mouse commands to a game controller.
