I've been a Mass Effect fan for five years exactly now, first picking up the game a couple of months after release.

In this time I've had such wonderful experiences, Both in the game itself, and though meeting such a wonderful community here on the BSN. Despite what many, many people say from general observations. This is a great community and I'm proud to be apart of it. I think people just see what they want to see, and for most people the angry/trolling or frustrated comments just seems to linger, but there's a lot going on here that doesn't get spoken about. And if BioWare claim to be as in touch with their fanbase as they parade about, I'm hoping that they'll realise what a lot of people want.

I know that this might get hit immediately with, "not everyone wants that" or "plz no more ending stuff"...

But is it really that much to ask? I mean, what if BioWare do it right? You've already loved what they've created so far, why would such a "reveal" make you do a double-take on the company, when it should be reinforcing your trust in BioWare?

What are you talking about? This community is a toxic wasteland full of degenerates who feel entitled and are never happy with anything Bioware does. They hang around here just to make life miserable for the rest of us, or so it would seem.

I'm here because I actually still love the series and want to talk about it with other people. But the threads that get the most replies are the self-serving ones. The ones that start as hate and end as hate, and then start again. It seems like people are more interested in ****ing and complaining on BSN than anything else.

I had a thread the other day that reached 32 pages in under a day. And that had nothing but positivity in it. Between people who like and dislike the endings.

Like I said, we see what we want to see. And if that's all you focus on, that's all you'll find.

To me, the most important clue that something about the ending is coming is that you cant possibly make 3 games with such a wonderful story and characters and flop it just at the last and most important minutes. There is no way those happy reaper endings occurred ( I wish you could see it as I do shepard, so beautiful), the whole lore points at Shepard having to face indoctrination, they claimed that there is a final and different final battle, the ending is too dreamy, the details reveal the lies, and the last scene we see is even a cliffhanger.

I trust Bioware, but I hope they don't leave the ending open as a cheap attempt to make it more artistic. Reveal the twist . wake up shepard !

Even if what you say is true, it's just one example. There are so many others that are filled with negative posters that don't even have a point to make.

Yeah. I do as well. There is just too much happening with this DLC to be pointless, baseless, and what not. Personally, I really hope for the first Reddit leak to be true...but that obviously doubtful. Still, I expect something very cool in the upcoming months, and maybe...just maybe Mass Effect 3, and the Trilogy as a whole end in a bang of Big Bang proportions.

Some more positivity would be great. But I can only change myself, not everyone else on BSN, but I figure that's a good enough start.

As for the next DLC, I'd say I'm on the hype train, and will remain optimistic until a trailer or the DLC itself reveals otherwise.

But I doubt I'll ever be done with Mass Effect (at least for a couple of years). Love the series too much.

I agree with you, Jade. I don't know why but I still have faith in the company, and their failure with the ending has inspired me to become a part of it someday.

As for the DLC they're planning... I can't convince myself it isn't ending related, simply because Bioware has written such amazing things, that I can't believe they are capable of creating that ending. That is why nothing would make me happier than a big, old fashioned, Bioware surprise released on the one year anniversary of ME3's release.

And it's killing me not to get my hopes up. Because if I do, and I'm wrong, it will be devastation all over again.

Not that I'm disagreeing with your observation of negativity on BSN, but you were the third poster in a thread that includes a relatively positive OP. Surely you callling the community a "toxic wasteland full of degenerates who feel entitled" in a thread where nothing negative has happened isn't helping make BSN a more positive place, right?

I have faith they will as well. The quallity of this game really is second to none. Haters may or may not fall by the way side, but I for one am still a fan.

Yeah i have some hope too...

I mean, that is the last DLC from that Team, i could imagine they would want to make the fans happy with this one! At least 99% of the games were really great, id hate it for this great trilogy to go down as the great trilogy which was destroyed by the last 10 minutes...

Yeah, as much as I wished the endings were different, I would much rather focus on the next game due to the fact that it will be much more likely that we can get a response from BioWare and throw some useful ideas out there. Hopefully their PR will be careful what they say this time around, but I guess we can judge that when DA3 comes closer to a release to see how they handle it~
