Okay, my ending was so badly messed up that I decided to redo it. I went back to the save just before the archdemon and redid everything - didn't fix the problem. So I went all the way back to Redcliffe thinking that was far enough back to have a clean run.
I deleted all the final saves that were no longer relevant because they were badly glitched and did the whole endgame again. I got to the post-coronation scene, there was one minor bug but that was all. Yaaay, I thought. But when I walk out the doors, no matter how many times I do it, no Post Epilogue save. The final save is the Post Coronation one I made.
Is there any way to fix this? Or am I screwed? I have some DLC stuff left to do. And I want to do the other DLC when it comes out - and the expansion. Will this be possible for this character?

Okay, fixed it. Had to go back to before the Archdemon and kill it again. (Aaaargh, 4th time for that character.) The save is now there.

Oh God no. Yeah I had a similar problem. i don't have that epilogue save. Instead i got two saves at the post coronation. Is there anyway i can still get that epilogue save?

Kill the Archdemon again? Sorry to not be more helpful, but from everything I can figure out the Post-Campaign save is created during the post-Archdemon slaying cutscene. Its there before the Epilogue scene starts. Saves made during the Coronation aren't any help because that's essentially an orphan scene that ends when you walk through the doors, so no DLC. Though if all you wanted was a save for importing into the expansion they're probably fine for that.

...in short I am essentially screwed? I don't even remember a save being made after I killed the archdemon originally. ugh, is there any way i can access previous saves that aren't on my hard drive (i know that this is just wishful thinking).

There is no notification that the save is being made. Its made behind the scenes while the cutscene is playing, probably around the time its loading in the Coronation Epilogue. I just know that by the time the first dialog response is required from you in the Epilogue its already been created.
If you look in the directory where the saves for the character are it is named PostCampaign_1.
