Also, does this mean the bonus damage is not done? Because I thought Incendiary ammo did the listed damage as a bonus as well as that % being damage over time, unless I am mistaken.
If you're by yourself, any of the following would work because by the time carnage hit the enemy, your shot would have hit first, leaving an active IA DoT. However, If you are in a team, and someone detonates your IG before you shoot, then you will lose the IA damage.
However, this may not be true for IG, since they also stack with IA. They then might count as a continuing Incendiary tick, allowing you to keep on stacking the IA damage, since they will also absorb the 0 damage FE tick. The same goes for flamer...
This will probably need to be tested to make sure, but I'm not likely to do it soon...
