Any of these or something else that you are looking forward to for DA3?
Personally when I saw that the specializations might be more than just an extra ability in combat I got excited, me and my roommate started playing DA Origins for some reason the idea of something like that affecting the game even a little made us both really happy and hopeful for the new game.

DA2 set this game up (so we're led to believe) as a conflict between mages and the Chantry. Mages have gone rogue, and so I want the option to exterminate them.

Oh and for the freedom, tolerance and a chance to kill Templars and wipe out this Chantry one god rule imperium.

They will send you a letter. Obviously. And Leliana will sing sad ballad about how Hero of Ferelden refuse to have a look at her collection of pressed flowers.

The continued honing and perfection of the Bioware-style RPG, and all the features that come along with that (form-fitting armor, tactics heavy combat, etc)
Whatever joys the story and writing brings, from the most epic plot twist to the little moments of irreverent party banter.
But really, I'm looking forward to see how this whole package comes together.

Not every mage is evil. That was a mistake with DA2. You were obviously brainwashed into believing that.

Here's hoping the game will get the time it needs to be FINISHED, and EA wont rush it out months too early.

I'm curious if anything ever came of interacting with banter and if there's some middle ground between DA2 and DAO-style companion interaction.
The thing I'm most curious about though is probably more detail on how specializations will work and what they are. I also wonder how much there is to any keep management in the game. Oh while we're at it, I'm curious if the new engine will result in the environments feeling more detailed and also less flat. Ever since BG, Bioware cities and dungeons have always felt like BG maps popped up into 3D which means their 2D feel is still there.

Besides the quite boring visuals and overused levels, DA 2 was actually quite a good game. With Frostbite 2 and Bioware's promise not to recycle environments again, I believe Dragon Age 3 will be an excellent game!

This is it for me. Although if I have to pick one thing, it will probably be playing around with all of the options in the new character creation engine.TheJediSaint wrote...
What am I looking forward to? Playing the damn game! It's been over a year since the DA2 DLC's stopped. I need me some Dragon Age.
