I'm just waiting for some real info to sink my teeth into.

Not to sound abrasive or anything, but an end to the speculation. After nearly six months of nothing but it here on the BSN, it seems like all people can do is speculate, speculate, speculate... and then argue about who's speculation is best.

Agreed. We don't know almost anything about the game (except some general info, that depending on Bioware's execution could be both positive and negative, at least from my point of view) to tell what part of the game I look forward the most.
Story, PC, characters, gameplay, customization, art, graphics, music, VA.. Bioware didn't show anything so far. The moment they'll show something, I'll know what I look forward.
As far now, I look forward to all of those features, since I know nothing about what they've done with them.

For the change that Bioware can still redeem themselves after the creating that abomination of an RPG genre called DA2.
Oh and for the freedom, tolerance and a chance to kill Templars and wipe out this Chantry one god rule imperium.
Yes. Freedom, tolerance and the right to kill people that dont agree. Sounds abit like awakening Ander. I miss that guy.

I agree with this right now. The problem with DA2 is that I had super high expectations and things I was excited about that caused me to seriously not enjoy the game my first go-round. So I'm not really putting any excitement or anticipation this time and maybe I'll be surprised.
Then again, I bought ME3 a week or two after it came out and knew about the outcry on the endings (although I kept myself spoiler free) and I still hated them, even after having rock-bottom expectations for them. So even this may not work.

With me it isn't any failure on Bioware's part, but my...excitements for entertainment are drying up, slowly.

And by the time that social encounter wears off I'll be able to feign interaction with other people by getting to know my new squaddies ^^
Yeah, that's my life in a nutshell. "I'm lonely, let's play Dragon Age and go talk to Varric! That'll help!"

Some explanation of the disappearance of the 2 previous PCs.
I want one for the Warden but not one for Hawke. My Hawke is hiding on Isabela's ship having lots of sex and I don't want to hear otherwise.

Abandoning the boards when the game comes out to avoid spoilers and people nitpicking every little thing to death. Looking back, it would have been very hard to tune out the uproar over the me3 ending, and though I didn't like it, I still wish I hadn't even known that.
I was able to avoid that, my reaction to the ending was more "Huh?" Than pure anger, not sure how much me avoiding anything on it helped with that.

A non-linear story.
Just curious - how do people generally define non-linear ? Are DAO and DA2 considered linear or non-linear. I just finished playing the Uncharted series (so fun!) and that would meet my definition of linear.

How new to the forums *are* you? Besides, I thought the bickering, debating and panting over the false leads, quotes and rumors were what kept the forums alive between games. You kill-joy! LOL
Okay, seriously, I'm most looking forward to what I always want in Bioware games. The wonderful characters and the relationships we get to develop with them. Irenicus, Anomen, Carth, Valen (*sigh*), HK47, Sten, Sagacious Zu. Alistair, Varric, Kreia, Bao-Dur, Kaiden (*sigh again*), Garrus, Isabella, Liara...
I can't wait to see who's next!! Squuuuueeeeee!!!! Wait...was that outloud?

As for DA:2 it's mainly the little things like how much cheese are we going to be able to eat, how ridiculous the hats are, and if we'll see Oghren finally riding a chariot being pulled by a mabari, you know the little things.
