99% of my DAO playthroughs include the Dark Ritual. I wanted to change it up this time, but I'm not sure how to make the ending I want come about. Here's my list:
-Female Mage Warden
-Hardened Alistair
-In a relationship but Al rules jointly with Anora
-DR declined
-Warden and Al both survive, obviously
So either Loghain must be recruited and take the killing blow (which appeals to me) or the DR must be performed. But sparing Loghain pisses Alistair off. I guess a simpler question might be can a Warden/Alistair relationship survive a spared/recruited Loghain at all?
Thanks.
Possible to get this ending?

Yep. Hardened Alistar will let Loghain live iff it's agreed that he'll marry Anora beforehand, she doesn't backstab you at the landsmeet, and the PC duels Loghain.
EDIT: Err, and for those not familiar with maths jargon, iff = if and only if.

I know he'll let Loghain live, but Alistair seems to want nothing more to do with my Warden at that point. Any way to keep the spark alive under those conditions? The more I attempt to Google an answer, the more it seems the answer is no.

I'm afraid that's correct. If Loghain lives, your romance with Alistair is dead, no matter what the circumstances of who takes the throne.
It is also impossible to have both the Warden and the second Warden (Alistair/Loghain) live if the DR is declined.

Alas. Dark Ritual it is then, I suppose. Thanks for your help.
