Hi folks,

I've finally gotten around to uploading the next in my series of adventures converted from old aD&D modules and White Dwarf issues.

This one centres around attacks on shipping that need your investigation, and lost artifacts that you may just be able to find.  And maybe something else waiting to be uncovered.  It was first published in White Dwarf back in 1985 & is a nice, island hopping jaunt.

Its a fairly short adventure - around 3-4 hours depending on the size of the party you take and style of play.

Taking everyone available (adding your own characters is possible too), charging into every situation quickly and ignoring sidequests will get you through the adventure within a couple of hours.

A smaller party (I'm thinking 3-4 PCs, level 4-5) taking more care (& dying less) and completing both side quests, and scouting areas more thoroughly, will take approximately 4-5 hours.

So play it however you like. :)

It forms the next part in the campaign started with 'Against the Cult of the Reptile God' and continued with 'The Lichway' - which have both been updated as I released this one - and which I hope to continue with 'Oasis of the White Palm' which is in development at the moment.

At the moment its only available via the Nexus  but as soon as I get the FTP instructions from the vault I'll try & get it on there too.

Have fun (& feed back via here, the nexus or the vault - I can't promise to fix every issue raised, but I'll try if I can).

What is the max party size and is it compatible with Kaedrin's.

Hi Thugbert,
Yes - I think so, and re party size, I've played it with all 8 available companions plus another character from the party editor just to see what would happen - seems OK.

Only issue I've found so far is re-loading a saved game after main character death sometimes crashes Neverwinter. Had the same issue in previous adventures in the series & someone on the forums reported the same. Haven't a clue what's happening, but since re-booting NWN2 is pretty quick, I've never gotten around to looking into it.

Congratulations Cly, I played the lichway a lot but have not got to this one yet.

I will though.

Then it's not compatible with Kaedrin's.  No doubt that you can install it and use it, but, without certain changes, Kaedrin's scripts will malfunction.  The changes are not hard.  It's just a matter of inserting 2 lines of code at the top of some of the event scripts.  The instructions are stickied on this forum, IIRC.
