I think If a city elf asks for a title it's pretty much a slap in the face to make him Bann of that ****hole of an alienage.
The place he [in my character's case] tried so hard to get away from.
It's kind of like  "yeah, you saved the world now go live in hell elf"
Still harrassing me,MS?
Why bother to post if you have nothing to say?
Reminds me of a 4 year old who endlessly follows you around and won't stop talking.

If you don't want it, then don't ask for it.

Thanks for the info. I never asked for that boon. Makes sense though: Elves gotta start somewhere and my city elf would have been happy to advocate for her people. Arl of Denerim would have been more poetically just, but unrealistic given how elves are treated.

not much else to ask for that would benefit mty character.

The point is to do something to help your people. Getting a hero as their representative and advocate might allow them to make the alienage a bit less of a hole.

If you want a title and riches, ask for a title and riches. Then you can be a Teyrn.

Wait,you can?
I thought you got the Bann of the alienage thing if you asked for a title?
Anyway no interest in helping them.
They force thier own kids into unwanted marrages.

If it's any consolation, the city elf dialog is bugged and you don't get the REAL epilogue, which actually sucks for all involved if you or anyone else becomes Bann.

ETA: Sucks is an understatement.  There's no happily-ever-after for the city elves.

Second edit: Of course, if you ask for title and wealth, you aren't made Bann.  You're made Teryn of Gwaren.

I want a title and the wealth to go with it. - Terynir of Gwaren (universal option, universal result)
I want my people to be treated fairly for once. - Bannorn Of The Alienage (City Elf specific)

So if you want not to help the elves and you want a title and wealth? It's easy enough to get both.

Way to complain about a Boon you hasn't even asked for yet, Gamer Ftw.
