Either you misunderstood or you're being purposefully dense. What I'm saying is that I'm not willing to play DS4 just to find out what happened to Isaac. I hate cliffhanger endings.

I bolded your words for the DLC reference to theending, thinking it might be another EA ending crisis turned into DLC for profit.

Since EA wants to milk you dry, they have devs working on a patch like flies on ****.

You can still use a hex editor, if you're feeling bold.B)

First game ended on a cliffhanger too. Hope it´s not DLC considering DS2 one wasn´t published for PC.

What type of answer is that? I was more wondering if they get answered. Do we find the original creators?

It's not an answer more like me agreeing with your questions. At this point i don't even think Visceral/EA knows, and they're probably milking the mystery of the Markers for all it's worth while having no planned origin.

Finished the game and, if I understood it correctly, the answer to your question is...

SPOILERS FOLLOW (highlight for answer)

No.

SERIOUS SPOILERS FOLLOW (ditto)

Tau Volantis is not the "home world" for the markers or the markers' creators. It's just a planet where another civilization found the markers just as humans did. There's more but I think the answer's spoilery enough as it is.;)

Played a little farther in (Taking my time) really enjoying the weapon crafting as it can lead to so many unique weapon types and styles which can aid in different areas (Favourite right now is a Arc machine gun type with a charge shot that can one-hit everything it touches, thinking of adding a stasis mod to it to slow down enemies that may survive)

Also a tip:  Always have a Tungsten rod handy, you can craft them at the workbench and they are used to open doors that lead to resource and ammo stashes.

Stasis mode should probably be a must, it's extremely useful, especially with the faster necromorphs.

Agreed, always keep at least one tungsten rod at hand, you're bound to find ammo, schematics, upgrades, etc. Essentially, it replaces the power node from DS2.

While I am enjoying this game, the only true bothersome complaint I have is the wave of enemies. It becomes frustrating and tedious after a while. Especially when you're trying to achieve an objective.

Well... if it's not in the DLC's we willl probably never know what happens after the cliffhanger. EA said that Dead Space 3 needs to sell 5 million copies, otherwise it wouldn't be profitable enough to continue the franchise. A rather hilarious amount of copies, since DS1 and DS2 just sold two millions each.

I agree, they also tend to attack while listening to something the for first time which is just frustrating.
Playing on hard but its easier than previous games, there lots of materials, medikits and ammo everywhere(oh and clips are universal ...) and we can easly create ammo/medikit with materials.
Game feels like a sci-fi shooter. Mechanics(shooting, crafting, upgrading) are good but i cannot get Dead Space feeling from this game just another good shooter...

Also story is beyond rubbish up to now(11th level) side missions and places are OK, sound effects are great, music is good, most of the lmap design is good. Not liking new creature design BTW, another unnecessary change.

Another survival horror IP wasted in my humble opinion, game is good but only Dead Space in name.

Edit: @TobiTobsen,

LOL 5 million coppies?!? I'll eat my hat if they can accomplish that :) Aliens game probably slow down a lot of DS3 sales.

Do we have any idea how DS3 is selling? I see it's not in top position on most digital distributors that are carrying it, but no clue how retail sales are going.

Ideally, EA will not be reinforced for their monetizing of the game.

That's an X-Files level of tease.

LOL. I think EA has taken the old saying "you gotta spend money to make money" a little too far.

I just played the demo today and I have to say I enjoyed it. Not sure when I will purchase the game.

Hopefully it will be as good as the first two.

Just started Dead Space, I really like the city at the beginning. But I really dislike the Uncharted feel, the Uncharted like music and feels like the London level in Uncharted 3. So far it's disappointment.

Graphics are good, actions is good, not a single sign of horror yet. I'm killing general mooks for crying out loud! But they definitely should do an urban Dead Space.

EDIT: Just bumped into the necromorphs, getting real bad vibes of Resident Evil 6 zombies. Well parasite infected Humans.

EDIT 2: Ok, this is just like Uncharted 2 now, the train level. This is ****ing disappointing.

Updated OP with Totalbiscuit's "WTF is... Dead Space 3?"

He plays a side quest so there shouldn't be any spoilers for the main story.

I was thinking, since it was hinted somewhere that Dinosaurs were wiped out by a marker and markers combine necromorphs and organic matter into giant moon monsters does that mean theres a giant necromorph made of dinosaurs under the moon (or Europa)... I smell Dinosaur DLC!Image IPB

Okay, this is pretty damn funny. I suppose it's better than spending money on a patch to ****** off your hardcore fanbase. :P

EA says the infinite resources glitch isn't a mistake.
