Citadel ("CitHub") files were seen as far back as Leviathan, right? Or was it EC? Either way, they've likely been working on this for a long time.

So that coupled with a Wrex appearance (a character that is not in everyone's playthrough) and it makes me feel like this is going to have some pretty good depth. I mention Wrex because to include that character means you have to likely include any variations, i.e., if Wrex is dead, a character still alive in your specific playthrough would replace him. Kinda like how the Normandy Memorial scene mixed and matched characters still alive.
