Post-ending doesn't make sense either, though, since two of the three endings would have Shepard absent from it.

sure....why not? He does enough already. If he neglects his fish, will the Reapers just high tail it back to dark space? No. So I see no harm in feeding the fish. The war will still be going on regardless. There's wars going on right now, and I still take the time to let my dog do her business...BiO_MaN wrote...

soldiers have "R&R" in every war. Vietnam had it. The Gulf War had it.SU37 wrote...
It wasn't really hanging out though. You weren't there for any extended period of time, and, when you were there, most of it was for business and not simply dancing.MegaSovereign wrote...
It's not like this DLC will set a new precedent for that. There were hangout spots on the Citadel with your squadmates and you could spend your time at the Purgatory club.
My buddy just got back from a tour in Afghanistan, and he said the Canadian troops built a roller hockey rink on base, when there was already an arcade. So.....I'm not really understanding your point. No war is just "fight fight fight" every waking hour of every day. You know how fast you'd lose that war? Your soldiers would burn out in no time. It turns into "What are we fighting for, if all there is is fighting?"
Not to mention, you did play ME3 I'm assuming....Did you miss the times of R&R with Garrus, Vega, Ash, Kaidan, Liara, Jack?
Of course, this is a Galactic war with millions of people dying every second. No pressure, Shepard, take your time feeding your fish!
I still dont see your point....

I like how you're comparing galactic armageddon to the Middle East.
When that spills over and millions are dead each day, you can sit on a burning beach and post how vacations are still important and we'd be doing much worse if we didnt have them.

This is a game. Gameplay has to come first sometimes. A "realistic galaxy war" game would be unbereable, oen combat section after another. And also, why was nobody complaining about shooting bootles with Garrus while millions were dying? C'mon guysSU37 wrote...

or perhaps it's too big of a project considering ending permutations for DLC and would be better suited for ME4? Considered that? Or just using the chance to have another jab at the devs?crimzontearz wrote...

Are these complaints even legitimate? Shepard always had access to clubs throughout the trilogy. This could be a secret meeting place to discuss the DLC mission.
I don't think this is a temporary hub though, there seems to be so much detail put into it.

Of course you know it is a fools hope since this is exactly the kind of logic the whole game followed.
Total war, facing total extinction and yet we had time to go galavanting around the Citadel, retake Omega, recover the Banner of The First Regiment and so on...

And guys, chill out. It's just two pictures. That DLC can contain much more than just the added ward to the Citadel. Maybe an added arc to Priority: Earth as well? More content with squadmates and LI's? (especially much-needed time with ME2 squaddies)
Don't all become downers because this isn't post-ending dlc. Worst case scenario, Priestly DID tell us several times, didn't he?
Edit: And this Krogan pic has my interest piqued. It might be MP, but if it's not... remember that Thane's room is still empty! We could be looking at our second DLC squadmate.

Hopefully this DLC will add something like dragon age:origins ending, where you could at least speak to every character and talk with them for one last time, to get to know their plans after all of this fighting. Would love to know what happened to EVERYBODY not speculate.

It gets annoying, but after a while it's just background noise.
It's up to those who ignore those posters to try to improve the image of BSN so that way developer-to-player communication is encouraged.

I don't begrudge anyone on here looking/asking/hoping for a different ending.
Just as I don't begrudge anyone who doesn't feel such a thing would be beneficial.
I just hate the poeple who are d!cks about it.

That's what I was getting at. If people who were extreme about their emotions didn't get as much attention, then Bioware can't use the "BSN is too toxic" excuse to not communicate with us here.
