The casino is on the citadel. That Krogan picture looks to be Illium. And that is wrex.
The Krogan-specific picture has pretty much been confirmed to be Thessia. Several pages back someone compared it to the Firebase Goddess MP map and it's pretty clear once you see it.
The casino does seem to be the Citadel, though.
Just a question of WHEN?

who said anything about a vacation? Do you even know what "R&R" stands for? Rest and relaxation. If you think all a soldier does is kill, eat, kill, sleep, kill, sh*t, kill kill kill....then you're sadly mistaken. Every soldier needs r&r or they will burn out. Hence rotations and tours. Shepard doesn't have the luxury of being rotated out, and having time between tours. But if he wants to feed his fish, or have a drink with Vega, or play quasar with Wrex.....I think he's earned a few minutes to do that. He has saved the galaxy on more than one occasion. He can do whatever he likes during his time on dry dockessarr71 wrote...

sure....why not? He does enough already. If he neglects his fish, will the Reapers just high tail it back to dark space? No. So I see no harm in feeding the finish. The war will still be going on regardless. There's wars going on right now, and I still take the time to let my dog do her business...
I still dont see your point....
I like how you're comparing galactic armageddon to the Middle East.
When that spills over and millions are dead each day, you can sit on a burning beach and post how vacations are still important and we'd be doing much worse if we didnt have them.

You know I always had this idea of a non-canon semi-out-of-character post game party where all the characters from the series come together for some fun, remember the journey of Mass Effect then allow players to say goodbye one last time..... I wonder.......
This is a possibility, but it would have to be at a specific time frame mid-game for all the characters to be magically available.

I don't get what people find so hard to understand about that. You can't just fight for years straight without a little rest. You WILL go nuts. A soldier that burns out is of little use. REMFs know that and grunts know that. Humans need to sleep, eat and rest.

yep, looking back at firebase thessia and that's it. No more ending DLC. Sorry. Endings are finished. It's over. Hopefully, this DLC adds another squad mate or at least maybe get to merk some fools with Wrex.

Very easy to argue that Shepard WAS on the brink of going nuts. I think the scenes post-Thessia were meant to convey that, regardless of their efficacy or compatibility with various Shepards.

Nothing you're saying doesn't make sense. I just think it's laughably silly that you'd compare a video game about the the eradication of all life to a tiny, prolonged cave-hunt.
I think you're taking the complaints too seriously. We have plenty of moments in the game where Shep relaxes and has some quality moments with his crew. If the last DLC is just a "lets go have a casino day" (which I don't think it will be), it's a perfectly valid complaint. It's a war. The game should focus on that.

Yeah, he/she was awfully emotional in ME3. While it felt kind of forced it was not unreasonable

Sure, if that's all the last DLC is. But suggesting that the last DLC is all about casino parties because of a screenshot is not a compelling way to arrive at that complaint.

Obviously. But, you can't deduce the DLC is action-packed from the picture, either.
It's barely a glimpse, and hardly an indication of anything. But it's highly anticipated here, the pinnacle of a years worth of hurt feeling and divided opinions, of years of loyalty to a fantastic franchise we all want to see sail into the sunset with something epic. And its the internet. And BSN. These sort of jumps are to be expected.
Hell, the biggest reason to assume it wont be an R&R DLC is the fact that it was Casey who describes the scene as such. Anything he says about ME3 has been pretty much a huge exaggeration.

Does anyone else see that first picture and wonder about the possibility of Yahg? The body might be a bit lean but the helmet doesn't look Krogan. There were Yahg on Sur'Kesh so it's not TOTALLY incoceivable that they've been thrown into battle.

When you're dealing with people in life and death situations, you have to give them a chance to wind down now and then. While it is a little silly to think of a casino still operating- why not? Bars, clubs, and dancing were all very popular during wartimes.
