I'm excited over the possibility of a reunion DLC. Not the kind everyone was hoping for (post DLC), but a DLC that brought back everyone for one last time before the end of the series. This really is a good chance to do that. Like Miranda, Jack, and possibly Thane if he's still alive.

I'm in speculation mode right now. I think this DLC is going to involve you running around the Citadel, investigating. One idea I have is that it'll be a Blade Runner story, where Shepard is hired to hunt down a rogue AI on the Citadel, which happens to be the same AI from ME1

The reunions on Earth were enough - a pre-ending reunion would be redundant and depressing (the Earth goodbyes were depressing enough as is, given the inevitable).

I hope fans of Jack, Miranda, and Thane get more time with the characters they're fans of. And this DLC seems like a good chance to do it.

It's not Illium. That place gets whiped out in the beginning of the game. You can hear the reports from A.N.N. on the Citadel.

The one thing about that picture that puts me off the notion of a post ending reunion is the fact that the Citadel was essentially nuked to hell. It should be in much worse shape than that.

It not taking place on the Citadel would explain that, but the resemblance to the Citadel wards from ME2 is uncanny.

There's always Bioshock: Infinite 

That's my comfort - I have it on good authority that it's going to be damn awesome (know a few who've had the chance to play it).

But yes, I would much prefer a satisfying conclusion to an otherwise excellent trilogy. I have a splinter of hope, but not much more.
