There's always Bioshock: Infinite

That's my comfort - I have it on good authority that it's going to be damn awesome (know a few who've had the chance to play it).

But yes, I would much prefer a satisfying conclusion to an otherwise excellent trilogy. I have a splinter of hope, but not much more.

Yeah thats another awesome game. Cant wait XD

Offtopic but I have a feeling Infinite's gona be a prequel to 1 and 2, or somehow connected to those. Do your inside sources have any news on this regard? ;)

Sadly I don't. They didn't get to play the whole thing, but enough to get a good feel for it. From what I understand, it's closer thematically and atmospherically to BioShock 1 than the 2nd one. Make sense given it's made by the same people who did the first game.

Ken Levine has yet to let me down - that guy knows how to make a damn good game.

Yeah Bioshock 1 was awesome. I still remember the chills I got when I first saw a Big Daddy with a Little Sister.. that sound he made.. 2 was good but not as good as 1. I thought there was a connection between Infinite and 1/2 because in one of the gameplay videos it shows Elizabeth opening a portal and on the other side it looked to be a 60s-70s city.. maybe Rapture.

The pissed-off krogan with a gravity hammer on Thessia is a sign of indoctrination?

Must have missed that part of the codex.

It proves the IT. The patterns are there, burried in the data

How about Cyberpunk from CDPR? And Project Eternity over at Obsidian?

Those are about the only games I look forward to.

It's not Illium. That place gets whiped out in the beginning of the game. You can hear the reports from A.N.N. on the Citadel.

Good point. there's a chance that there will be no "even more Liara" then...

I'd hope on something that bothers to fix Citadel Plothole. Probably, some insights on Udina's coup...Baileys has some line about "we're still investigating" if you talk to him. Though, that would very likely involve "even more Cerberus".

There is still a while for those to come, if I'm not wrong. Infinite lands in 1-2 months, then there's Tomb raider, and Watch Dogs further down the line. Looks to be a good year :D

Hope all this buying and selling doesn't delay the Stick of Truth. And I also forgot Metro: Last Light. :|

Don't count on it, South Park Studio has filed suit to get the rights returned to them. Apparently the deal they had with THQ said only THQ could publish, and if they was unable to publish then the rights revert to them.

Legal battle ensues....

Glad to see I'm not the only one to have misgivings about this last Nail In The Coffin...  uh, I mean... final spectacular MP/SP DLC.

Well, except for the obvious obligatory MP component they'll likely release first - "krogan brutemaster with his rifle that turns into a shock hammer!"

Zippie-doo-dah.  Feh to pointless MP.

I don't know what particular orifice people are pulling "romance", "post-ending party", "new hub" and "new squadmate" out of, but it's amazing y'all can get that much out of that picture.

If Wrex is in it, it's likely early in the game, Pre-Tuchanka, there is no post-ending anything possible with Shepard because he's either dead, dying or buried in our sixteen endings.  War assets and two guns and the leather jacket for FemShep.  Huzzah.

All that picture does is give me an unwelcome sense of foreboding.

Folks just so desperately want to believe there's something to salvage.  I truly admire the optimism,  and can't but wonder at the futile grasping for something to vindicate this butchered series - but there's been way too many lies and dashed hopes for me to buy any more last-gasp hype from this last-gasping franchise.  To fix what so many want would require another DVD-full of fixes and content, not some miniscule DLC that fits on a stinkin' Xbox.

As far as what used to be Bioware is concerned, nothing's broken, so nothing needs to be fixed.

This is your filler, the last of their contracts, the last obligation they have to we Toxics.  Accept it.

I'd be happy to eat my words. I would love to eat my words.

I hope, I hope, I hope they prove me wrong.

But they haven't yet.

Anyone thought about the idea that the hub might simply be available throughout the whole story? What if the DLC simply adds more citadel locations and sidequests where you can talk more with all (former) squaddies throughout ME3. It needn't necessarily be during or after a certain event. Remember throughout ME3 people would contact you through email to talk with you on the citadel? It might be just more of that coupled with more sidequests and perhaps some other stuff. It would certainly make up for one of my biggest problems with ME3 (yes, bigger than the ending) namely that the game just feels way too linear and that there's not enough exploration and dialogue. This DLC might be fully integrated with the main story. Who knows...

Any idea's where it is?
It looks impossible for it to be on any of the planets or space stations we were already at due to them not matching, it's not the citadel and if it is then it is a big design mess.
The only place that it could remotely be that we know of, is Illium.
Too many different aliens to be a homeworld like Thessia or most asari worlds.

Overall it might be a retcon of the citadel.

Well then that would be a whole new low, As who in they're right mind would pay for extra floors on the citadel and surely they wouldn't need all the writers for that. The citadel lost it's appeal when they turned it into floors so adding a few more for whatever reason just isn't enticing to me personally.

Retcon of the citadel? What are you smoking? That looks like the Wards and nothing else.

Heck even the design is almost the same as in ME2 and how much of the Wards have we seen there?

If you don´t know Illium has been sacked by the Reapers and thus would not be that "lively" in ME3 !!

Wait . Why do people dismiss the idea that it might be on the citadel? It looks exactly like this.

As of this point its all speculation. If all the (former) squaddies return for more moments and dialogue and the dlc contains both small and big story sidequests then I can definitely understand the need for all the writers returning. For me this would give ME 3 more body. Which I think it needs more than another end.

To me, it's the wards on the citadel. They remind me of Garrus's and Thane's loyalty missions in ME2.

It also looks like some concept art for the wards, so I'm with this theory.

Save Thane DLC lulz.

Too much speculation.
