Sure, but it could be any mission.

With the size limit on DLC I am not going to get my hopes up. I would still rather they make a Mass Effect 3 expansion pack. The krogan picture almost looks like a prothean world, from the prothean videos we see in Javik's recruitment mission.
The size limit is curious if you ask me. I mean GTA 4 had two very sizeable expansion packs one of which averaged out at 8 hours to beat in the Lost and the Damned. That was 2 GB. Personally I'm thinking they should be able to add more content if they're going to take up 2 GB. Then again one of the most puzzling things I heard about the EC is that the slides took up a HUGE portion of the 1.90 GB because they were technically full motion HD movies.

They were. And very nearly uncompressed to boot.
Each ending had its own slide movie. Rather than simply coding a selection of immages to appear with or without a green eye pixel change that would have freed nearly 2/3rds of the space used.
Fully compressed, the EC barely makes it to 800MB
Fully compressed and coded properly it would barely scratch at 300 MB

That's ... ALMOST what the picture, and Casey's comment, suggests, isn't it?
This wouldn't be ...
Surely BioWare isn't going with...
Romance/character DLC!?
I don't even think I really want that ... but that's what the picture sort of gives off.
All for this.. to a point. Meaning its pointless if it is before the ending and doesnt add after stuff.

If they really wanted to, couldn't they put it in 2 parts anyhow, like a part 1 and a part 2 and go over 2gb? Split the cost between the 2 or something? It does not seem like that big a deal to me.

If it's the last DLC for SP, they'll want to go out with a bang, But didn't they say somewhere that as long as there is a demand for it, they'll keep doing DLC for a while longer?
I dunno.
The demand is there but Bioware doesnt listen. Fans would gladly pay for DLC that could include unfinished side stories/Characters from the previous games.
For example:
Like how about a DLC including Ilos? What happened to the mini relay? Why didnt we use it? Did Cerberus use it to get the troops on the Citadel (would make more sense)? Hell it would even explain why they can magically repair the relay network in the destroy ending.
What about the Collectors? In one of the leaks there was a mission mentioned about the last collector ship "ever". Also what happened to the Collector Station and Cerberus beyond the Omega 4 Relay?
What about the klendagon weapon? Cerberus found it but it was defunct so why dont they bother taking it from the and reparing it? It kills reapers
You get my point there is enough stuff left but instead they sold us cut content so far. And before someone goes ape**** Casey Hudson promised that all the answers on the protheans/reapers would be in the game and not DLC ()
Omega was also promised in the Comic with Aria. Technically this upcoming DLC is the first real added sidestory

DLC sizes. Hehe, always a problem. The reason they take so much damn space is because they pack all different voice over languages and uncompressed movies.
So dont sell major plotpoints as DLC.
Stick to sidestories

I don't know if it's been mentioned before but what I would really enjoy is a DLC taking place after the ending with either Ashley or Kaidan as a playable character. Holy cow, now as I said it, I really want it. Biower pls.
Only problem with that is if the VS died on the run to the beam. Or during the coup.
But I'm completely down for a post-ending DLC with a surviving squaddie as playable character, where we investigate just what the hell happened re: Crucible.

That's a really good idea. I'd love something that extends on the VS story in ME3 or something where they are the main focus. They sort of got put on the back burner when it came to the last game.
When it came to who died on the beam run, though, it can't really be helped, because everyone can potentially die on the beam run. But if the VS happened to die in the coup, this side story could still be continued by James. I like the idea of keeping it close to the Alliance.

I like the idea, too. Although I'd prefer Garrus.
But basically, whoever survived your game could have the potential to be playable. One final mission - perhaps about the keepers where they themselves have become hostile - that fills in some of the holes while giving closure to all the characters that fought alongside Shep for three games.
I'd love that.
Honestly couldn't think of a better send-off.

Really? How is that possible? I though every run to the beam, there's an explosion and then the Normandy comes to save your two allies (VS or otherwise).

Right. Squaddies don't survive the run without high EMS

Isn't that just in the case with extra-low EMS?
