I'm not sure that's a great example. Plenty of SW fans stuck with it through the prequels, even if a faction whined about it.

The Battlestar Galactica reboot might be more on point. That was a version of BSG made for people who didn't think that the original was all that great; good premise, poor execution. The more of a fan of BSG TOS you were, the less llikely you were to like nuBSG.

Tho earth shares a somewhat similiar look to some of their buildings the Krogan looks to be on thessia. The building on the right of the wiki image looks like an exact copy of the one in Gamble's teaser image.

They never said 16 endings.

Perhaps they never said it in an interview, but the "16 different endings" bit is in the "official" strategy guide for the game. There's an entire page that spells each of them out, trying (unsuccesfully) to convince the reader that they actually are somehow different.

No, in the the stratergy guide there are about 16 different ways of achieving the 6 different endings. Like the presence of the collector base, and how it impacts the ems. The 16 different endings thing came from an IGN guide which confused the 16 ways of achieving an endgame state in ME3 with 16 different alternate endings.

No, the way it is presented in the strategy guide, right there on page 323 (Collector's Edition) to be exact, there are two columns, each with 8 bullet points underneath, for a total of 16 bullet points.

Are each of these bullet points presented as distinct ending? Hmm...let's see what the strategy guide says above each column:

Column 1 (the one on the right): "If you imported a save where the collector's base was saved, then these are YOUR POSSIBLE ENDINGS."

Column 2 (left): "If you imported a save where the collector's base was destroyed or you didn't import a Mass Effect 2 save, then these are YOUR POSSIBLE ENDINGS."

I capped for emphasis. But, it's perfectly clear from what's actually written on page 323 of the strategy guide that each of those 16 sh!tty, pretty-much-the-same bullet points was presented as a distinct ending.

Well the one photo looks like Wrex and mshep talking in a street near a casino and hopefully we don't go to that casino....I'd hate that shooting gallery. The other photo they have with the hammer that looks like Krogan armor so either a new Wrex clone as our enemy or friend. So far I'm not looking forward to this DLC at all they'll probably make it as self containing and irreverent as Omega.

Well, we won't have any new "news" about any sort of upcoming mass effect games for the next year or two so I would rather take this over nothing at all. Yeah, I'm apprehensive...but I'm apprehensive about buying most DLC anyways...oh the qualms of being a uni student tight on cash.

Anyone remember the 'Lustful' video from the hotel in Illium in the LOTSB dlc?

The video showed Asari's dancing and in one scene there is a 'casino' sign that looks similar to that of the new dlc image.

Is the image part of the hotel? Or do we get an Illium hub.
